The vegan fro-yo is ok (I’m not a fro-yo person so maybe not the best judge).

Softserve yogurt - Edit
Need gas and while you wait have soft serve yogurt. This is the place. In the cafe in the back nothing was vegan. Grass fed burgers and pork something. Gross.

This place was a gas..gas..gas! - Edit
Pretty nifty little convenience store packed with many vegan options. Heard they even had vegan soft serve ice cream...was too full to partake (stupid small stomach!). Told the fella working there that I'd never seen such a terrific gas station store..and he replied 'working here is a gas gas gas...'. Okay, so he didn't, but I wish he had.

Read moreIt's not the only reason to go, but from May to about October, you're going to have ice cream friendly weather. Why not take advantage of the place when you want ice cream? They have a toppings bar, although not everything is vegan. The ice cream is weighed and you can enjoy your cold concoction on your way home or at one of the tables. The ice cream reminds me of old school vegan ice cream. It's not as creamy as the stuff from Spiral.
They also have a number of vegan grocery items, like the vegan cheese crackers. If you hate Whole Foods, but still need your cheese crackers, you're in luck.
If you're in the area, check the place out and head towards White Rock lake to enjoy your vegan ice cream with some nice scenery.

Best place in town! - Edit
I love the Green Spot! It has wonderful homemade breakfast tacos, as well as pre-packaged yummy vegan/vegetarian items you can only find in places like Whole Foods. They also have these little packages of nut butters ~ great for me, because I can't be trusted with much more than that at once (if you know what I mean). The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. You'll look for an excuse just to hang out there for a little while.
