Oh so good

I love this place. The TLT is perfection as is their various soups. Other favorites include kale salad, taco trio and amazing juice.

Cons: Service can be slow

Local and Organic

They use a lot of organic items. They have quite a few vegan options, some of which are decent. The soysage biscuit is good. I'd avoid the breakfast gravy unless you like mushrooms in your biscuit gravy. I like the potato hash.

Pros: Parking, Multiple vegan options

Cons: Only good in a pinch

Delicious food, great service!

Found this place while traveling from Indiana, and loved it! Staff was fast and friendly, lots of vegan options, I had the Greenway, a tofu scramble with a vegan biscuit and tempeh bacon, and it was divine! We will definitely be returning!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly fast staff

First vegan breakfast

Having moved to a whole food, plant based lifestyle recently, this was my first vegan meal outside of my home. I had the Woodstock with the vegan biscuit. Everything was delicious, and I was able to eat on the patio with my dig. Pic posted. The only thing I would change would be the tempeh bacon, it should have been a little crispy but the sauce soaks in quickly. Pleasantly surprised by the tofu scramble, it was perfect.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Pet friendly out on the patio, Friendly staff

Cons: None

Yes get everything

I am not usually a salad eater, but I have eaten salads here. Literally the only places I'll get salads are here and Jason's Deli. That's how good this place is.
Sandwiches are amazing as well.
They offer local tempeh.
This is one of those places that have a compost bin. Waste is super minimal.
The only thing I don't absolutely love are their biscuits. They aren't the fluffy pull apart layered biscuits, but the kind of compressed, greasy ones. This lends to better biscuits and gravy, but not so much soysage biscuits.

Pros: Amazing salads and also their other food, Good portions and sides, Compost bin!

Cons: Not the kind of biscuits I wished for

Great breakfast

We stopped here to grab a quick breakfast to go. I tried the yummy chia pudding bowl, and my partner got an omni breakfast sandwich that he was pleased with. They have quite a few vegan and gluten free options that sounded good. If I lived in Asheville, I would probably go here often.

Pros: Vegan, gluten free options labeled, Quick service , Inexpensive

Typical cafe fare with lots of vegan options.

This place is nice. They are a basic cafe with typical breakfast and lunch entrees. Luckily, there is a vegan option for most of the menu items, including breakfast biscuit sandwiches, scrambles, pancakes, and basically everything. They also have a great tea selection and several baked goods. I had a breakfast bowl and it was really good, a tad pricey for what you get, but still tasted good.

Amazing!

I've been here twice so far. The first time I got the Ginger Miso Bowl with tempeh. It was to die for! I ordered the large and had quite a bit to take home for later as well!

The second time, I ordered the Curry Cashew Salad Wrap and it was also really good! It was much larger than I anticipated and I couldn't finish the entire thing!

I've also tried their cold matcha with the rice milk and an almond butter vegan brownie, and loved them both!

Pros: quick service, more than just one or two options

Great Place

This is my favorite places to eat and to hang out in South Asheville! As a gluten free, vegetarian, there are many choices. The staff is always wonderful. It is a wonderful place to plug in your computer, have coffee or tea, and chill out in a peaceful environment!
It is located in a small shopping area, Dingle Creek, with ample parking, and easy access from Hendersonville Road. Breakfast is served all day too! I have never been disappointed with any selection at Green Sage!

Pros: Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free
