Can't wait for the doors to open! - Edit
Walked by the takeaway hatch for a coffee (which is locally roasted by the cafe team) and saw the plant-based food-to-go menu. I had one of their breakfast muffins & wild mushroom roll.
Read moreThe texture was perfect with a nice crispiness from the hash brown and a good flavour from their home-made vegan sausage patty. It's very refreshing to see a tasty vegan menu at a fair price.
Had a chat with their their (super friendly) and seriously looking forward to their plans: Natural wine & tapas, Sunday Roast & supper clubs.
Happy with the hatch offering for now but can't wait for the doors to open!
Pros: Local Coffee, Homemade Food, COVID Safe
Cons: Front garden could be cleaner, Small menu (for now), Cafe isn't fully vegan - (Kitchen menu is)

The plant-based breakfast & brunch Oxford has been crying out for...
Read moreGreen Routes cafe is a hidden jem of Oxford, located in Cowley on the Magdalen Road. The building has got an antique, rustic charm with industrial lighting set on a residential road.
In recent times its hard to find anything other than vegan junk food or a token effort from a meat based business. Green Routes have really found a niche that I think everyone would like.. the offer vegan savory bakes in the morning and sweet vegetarian pastries all day.
I had the brunch bap which was fully vegan and absolutely delicious. The pancakes also looked so tasty.
Pros: Food, Service, Aesthetics
Cons: Was a little hard to find!, Not fully vegan establishment...
