Pretty good options

They are knowledgeable which items are vegan. I had the green curry. It was good but lacked coconut milk, I thought. The broccoli pieces were too big to eat, like small trees, and they didn’t give a knife to cut anything - awkward to eat.

Pros: Options, Fast service

Fresh & tasty!

Stopped in for lunch and we tried several vegan dishes. I was assured that all of the curries could be made without fish sauce, so I ordered the red curry with fried tofu and it was good! We also tried the Massaman curry & Thai Fresh Ginger. The portions were perfect as well.

Pros: Curries can be made without fish sauce, Portion sizes, Good flavor

I Don’t Know

I was excited to meet a friend here for lunch after reading the previous reviews.

When I asked for a vegan option without fish sauce, I was told it’s already mixed in to almost all of the sauces. 🤔

There were only two things the waitress said I could get, so I had the Pineapple Tofu. I love sweet things, but this was very sweet. Would not recommend. Also, my friend and I thought it was so strange and funny that the entree plates come with a decorative smear of chocolate and strawberry sauce lol. We were so confused.

Overall experience left me like, “What is going on?”

Cons: Confusing

Excellent Thai!

Had the green curry with steamed tofu. It’s delicious. Definitely recommend. Make sure you ask for a manager who knows what is vegan.

Not a vegan option for Pad Thai

After reading reviews here I called to make sure they would be able to make veggie Pad Thai with soy sauce instead of fish sauce and two separate people told me no. They also didn't really seem sure of the information they gave me, so I don't know that I would trust the food to actually be vegan. They said I would just have to order something else. Maybe some of their other options are more vegan/vegetarian friendly but if you're looking specifically for Pad Thai I don't think this is your place.

Best Vegan Thai Food in 5 states

I have tried Thai food in 5 states and was left unimpressed each time. FINALLY a decent vegan Thai meal. And how wonderful that our server was vegetarian, so I knew when I said I wanted no animal products like fish sauce, she understood what I mean!!!
I ordered #41-Garden Vegetables ($11)- Good flavor and vegetable combinations. I asked for 4 of 5 stars and ACTUALLY got a spicy meal! Very delicious!!! My friend ordered the Lunch L2 Red Curry-very tasty and both of ours had nice size portions. The other friend ordered the Lunch L10 The Amazing and it was SO decadent. To me is was more like having veggies for dessert, it was really sinful.
We all appreciated the brown rice. The surroundings were a pleasant and clean, open and nouveau.
Tofu proudly listed as an ingredient in several dishes, no need to ask for it as a meat substitute. How wonderful for the group (all vegan) to be able to order vegetables alone or with tofu with no fear of animal products.
I found Jacksonville to be overall not vegan friendly.
Best meal I had all week in Jacksonville, this will be a regular stop when in town for sure!!!

Pros: Tofu listed on menu, LOTS of veggies available in the meals, Lunch portions still a good size so a good value

Cons: Dinner prices a bit high, "Amazing" was too sweet, Too many dishes with high calorie coconut milk

really good pad Thai

Their pad Thai is really good and can be ordered vegan (cooked in soy instead of fish sauce and no egg) I didn't really notice anything on the menu that was specifically vegan but they're really good about making things vegan for you :)

Most excellent

Friendly people, nice place and great food. We had 2 vegetarians and an omnivore. All were happy. The vegetables were fresh and the sauces were tasty. They are able to modulate the heat in the dishes. We also talked to one of the cooks and he did say that they could modify some of the soups to make them vegetarian which was great to hear. This place is a keeper.
They do have beer and wine, too. It was the first time I saw Kirin Light. It was a very tasty light beer.

Pros: Great food, Friendly people, Comfortable

Fantastic Thai food

They "get" the whole vegan thing and have a terrific selection of flavorful dishes. Their curries are outstanding; if you want fire, they'll actually give you fire, which is refreshing. Service is also great!!

Pros: great food , easy parking

Great vegan options

Green Payaya is a nice option for vegan thai...they offer tofu substitutes for every meal...they know the vegan language so ask your server for some options...but you can easily modify the options...I get the amazing curry with tofu...and fresh summer rolls with tofu and papaya...good food...and good peeps running it...

fried rice

We live very close to this spot so we frequent it often and the waiters know our orders. Since there's only a few vegan items to choose from we get the same thing every time. I get the basil fried rice with no egg and crispy tofu. My partner gets pineapple fried tofu with extra white rice. They both are delicious and prepared well. I just wish they could make more dishes vegan like curry without fish sauce.

Best Thai

I've had Thai food all over the Southeast and this is one of the best. All of the curries are spectacular but the Amazing is the best. Atmosphere, service, and price are all spectacular. Tofu options are available on most of the dishes. 2 minutes off I-95 and a few minutes from JIA. In River City Market Place.

Pros: Best Thai Food, Good quality and service, Moderatly priced

Cons: Serves meat
