Loyal customer - Edit
I love Green. Their food never disappoints. The specials are my favorite, but make sure you try either the west coast fries (in-n-out animal styled fries basically) or the east coast fries. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would though. Unfortunately seating can be a pain because the location is so small. Make sure a friend grabs a table while you order food if you go during the dinner rush.

Staple Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Everything here is so freaking good! One of the first places we tried when we went vegan, green can do no wrong. We are big fans of the big wac, Buffalo wings, and fries

Cute inside and incredible sando - Edit
The vibe was great inside with happy and friendly employees. I got the Chicago cheesesteak and I’m so glad I did. The ciabatta was so soft, the cheese nice and melted and the jalapeños really completed the sandwich. Without the side, I found it to be the perfect amount of food without over filling myself. I’d love to go back and try the whole menu.

Where I first take my non-vegan friends - Edit
If it is the Wac Mac reminiscent of another famous burger; the East Coast Fries coated in cheese, ranch, and buffalo sauce; their pho; desserts everything here is a hit with everyone. Think mostly comfort foods, with some wraps, yummy salads loaded with toppings, or their eastern flair dishes. I have never had even the pickiest eaters complaining. Don't forget to stop next door at their sister restaurant, Nami, for a yummy Blizzard-like Tsoynami. The first place I send everyone looking for a place to try vegan.

I love the Chicago Cheesesteak, I've had it many times at this point. I order 2 because 1 isn't enough (they're good size).

Fantastic, inclusive food - Edit
This restaurant was amazing. My boyfriend's family introduced it to me when we met, saying they couldn't believe it was all vegan. Everyone at the table was satisfied, vegans and carnitas alike. The crab puffs were a crowd favorite. I suspect the chicken sandwich I got was seitan since it had a distinctly wheaty flavor, but it was still incredibly delicous.
Read morePros: The food impressed even meat eaters, Everything was very flavorful, The menu has a good variety
Cons: It was a tad pricey, The chicken tasted like seitan to me

Hip and tasty - Edit
Green is a fun little place to eat. Always a groovy crowd and a full menu with all kinds of delicious treats. Unfortunately, it's not as healthy as it could be because nearly everything is drenched in a salty or sugary sauce. But if indulgent is your thing, then Green is a great place to go.

THE BEST VEGAN FOOD IN THE USA - Edit
Green New American has THE BEST vegan food in the USA. I have eaten all over and yet, it is still the best. I love the Big WAC, the wingz, and the strawberry shake! Nothing I have ever gotten from here has been bad. I rave to anyone who will listen about Green!

Awesome vegan lunch - Edit
Stopped here for lunch while traveling cross-country. The Thai Peanut bowl was delicious and kept me satiated all the way to El Paso. Friendly, helpful staff as well. My dog was welcomed on the patio as well to get a break from the car. Only complaint was it was too popular and busy (which I'm always happy to see at a vegan restaurant).

Impressed - Edit
I was quite impressed with this restaurant! My experience has no complaints. I was only here once while I was visiting the area, but the food, drinks, service, staff, atmosphere, location, art, ...were all wonderful. Be sure to stop at this place if you live in Arizona, or you're just stopping by Phoenix. And surely go next door for some ice cream!

Yummy and close to airport - Edit
I always try to support local vegan places when traveling for work. This place really hit the spot and is only 10 minutes from the airport. I had the curry rice bowl with crispy tofu. It was great, but next time I'll order extra curry sauce.

My daughter lives in Phoenix and loves this place; so took me in a recent visit. We had the wings, crab puffs, east coast fries and the BFF sandwich - along with a carafe of “on tap” angel white. Everything was delicious, served together, nice staff and good vibe.

One of the OGs - Edit
10 years ago when I was full vegan (back when there were hardly and vegan options anywhere), I use to skip class a couple times a month and drive 45 mins just to eat something other than crackers w/ PB, dry cereal, or various salads. This place seriously helped me stay vegan for years when I needed a sweet fix or, ya know, flavor. Always a great vibe here from the staff and customers. I would probably sell a limb for their buffalo wings recipe... and the tsoynamis give DQ Blizzards a run for their money. The menu hasn’t grown much over the years, so as a long time customer I’d be thrilled if they expanded food options (beyond daily specials) but rest assured all their options are still great. So glad they opened up a 2nd spot & hope they keep growing! Forever my favorite veg stop!

Eh. - Edit
It's always nice to have a menu that you can order anything from but I wasn't blown away with what we ordered. We split the special and had to order more food. The price didn't match how hungry it left us. However, the staff was nice and the drink we ordered was huge.

Vegan comfort food!! - Edit
This place is all-vegan, which is awesome!! The staff is super-friendly, and the atmopshere is great. I had lunch and then spent the afternoon working. It was a great space to work remotely in while I was in town!!
Read moreThey have a pretty extensive menu, and they also serve alcoholic drinks.
I ordered the cheesesteak, which was very tasty with so many ingredients that they were falling out of the sandwich. I added the thyme fries, which also had good flavor. My one "complaint" is that the fries weren't hot when I was served and the sandwich as also lukewarm. I do like *hot* food, so this may be just my personal thing/preference, but the fries definitely felt like they had been sitting for a bit.
Overall, I'd definitely come back here the next time I am visiting Phoenix!!
Pros: Great atmosphere, perfect for studying or working, Lots of ingredients with lots of flavor
Cons: Food was a little cool when served

Their junk food is really good. - Edit
This place is great to go to every once and a while for a Big Mac and fries vegan style. Really good!!! Ordered gluten free bread for my wife and it was moldy. They replaced it but with an attitude, like we did it or something. It was weird. Didn’t even apologize.
