It's with a heavy heart that I have decided to close the green kitchen. It's taken a toll on my health, family and financial stability. With my time needing to be dedicated to never say dive, I can't be at two places at once. I will continue to do monthly popups and perhaps a trailer at some point but a brick and mortar is out of the question. I appreciate each and everyone of you and hope to see you very soon.

i stopped in here and talked to the owner, he has been grinding it out getting great vegan food to people across cleveland for a decade or so!
Read morei got the chicken sandwich and was amazed by not just the texture (which was very firm) but the breading had such a thick crispy crunch to it! The side tator tots are always welcomed too !

Comfort Vegan Menu in Ohio City area - Edit
We enjoyed our visit. The Seitan Philly sandwich is made in-house from their seitan. Delicious. The sausage roll was made from a purchased product like Beyond Burger. We were told the sausage roll and the smash burger both are made from purchased products, and not so with the other options. My preference is to support options made from innovative cooking by the restaurant staff.

We finally got the opportunity to try out the Green Kitchen at their new location. We ordered the mac n cheese, heil seitan cheesesteak, and the pierogis. Everything was delicious. We definitely want to go back to try more things. Staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant itself is very nice and we enjoyed the music.

Loved the vibes of this place. Food was okay and damn do they make those drinks strong! Not complaining though. We got the chicken sandwich, hot chicken, and loaded tots. Yummy but could’ve used some more cheese and wasn’t a fan of their coleslaw.

Many vegan restaurants focus on health food. That's great, but this is a welcome alternative that gives you vegan bar food. You can get a burger, awesome tater tots, etc. The food is familiar, but creative. The brussel sprouts are a highlight. I strongly recommend it.

Nice little punk bar with great vegan food. Stopped on our way to Detroit and had a great meal. Nashville hot chicken was delicious as were the sides. My gf had the chicken sandwich with tots, excellent. The tots were truly transcendent, crisped to perfection. Might have to stop again on the way back.

This restaurant is located in a small bar. Beware there is not a lot of parking. The menu is also pretty small, and there is not alot of seating. But the food was amazing and the bartenders were so nice. I took my non vegan friends with me and they really enjoyed the food. Everything was delicious.

I really wanted to like. We got food to-go. Disappointed in what we got. Got the burger and was not impressed that mustard was smeared on both the top and bottom. I wish it was listed as a ingredient in their toppings as I have a mustard allergy and didn't notice it until three bites in~ luckily not life threatening but the rashes I develop are not fun.
Read moreOrdered a salad and asked for a different dressing only to discover when I got to the beach (where we having a picnic) I was given the ranch which is not what I asked for.
In the end threw the burger away and ate half the salad.
The only good thing was the tater tots.
Disappointed and my chances of going back are about 5%.

I went here around 5p for dinner with a couple friends. It is small but we had no problem getting a table and service. Around 630p it started getting busier and there was only one person on staff so I don't know how it would be for dinner if you came later.

It has a dive bar feel and plenty of graffiti in the bathroom to appreciate, but it seemed clean enough that I had no concerns.

It’s always a treat going to eat and have a few beers at little rose. Their one page menu is entirely vegan and everything I’ve ordered is excellent, from pirogies to a hot Nashville chicken sandwich and the best vegan smash burger I’ve had! The ambiance is your typical Cleveland dive bar, friendly people and with reliably fun music too!
