Vegan options yes, but not fantastic food

Green Hours Jazz Cafe is more of a bar that offers food, with a few clearly marked vegan options on the menu. I tried the vegan spinach quesadilla, which was not bad but lacked finesse and became a bit cloying towards the end. The beers, on the other hand, were good.

The ambiance is very pleasant, and the staff is quite friendly. While it's a convenient spot for a casual meal, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Overall, it's a decent option if you're already nearby, but not exceptional.

Pros: clearly marked vegan options, good beers, pleasant ambiance

Cons: lacked finesse, not 100% vegan

Lied about the food being vegan

We ordered the vegan spinach quesadilla (saying „VEGAN“ since the vegetarian one is called “spinach quesadilla”) but received the one with cows cheese (gorgonzola). We told the waiter and he rudely said he gave us the vegetarian spinach one since that’s what we ordered (not true). He went back to the kitchen, he and the other staff fought a bit, came back with the same plate and said that he gave us the vegan one. We looked closely at it again and are 100% sure that it was cows cheese. Since the vegetarian one had gorgonzola, the taste (and look with small blueish spots) was obviously not vegan. Final confirmation is the picture included in the first review since our dip was not ketchup but something “milky”.

So first he lied about us ordering wrong, admitting he gave us the one with cows cheese and then lying about it being vegan anyways.

Great jazz cafe with a vegan menu

Spinach quesadilla with vegan cheese was amazing! They have a full vegan menu- beyond burger with fries, vegan quesadilla, spring rolls and hummus made of beans. Big portions!

Pros: Nice garden , Jazz concerts, Vegan menu
