I travel a lot and eat all over the west coast. This is one of the best vegan places in terms of taste.
Read moreFood is made fresh and it’s delicious. It is Indian fusion so there is a hint of Indian flavoring with a western twist. I had the crispy chicken which is made with oyster mushrooms. Yum. I highly recommend this restaurant

I ordered two entrees and garlic naan. The naan was only two partial pieces and cost $3.25 which is a complete rip off. When I said something the fella just looked at me and shrugged. Then I had to order desserts just to feel full. Of course they were tiny as well. As far as the quality of the food, I would say it was very tasty and healthy.

We stopped by this all-vegan restaurant and we're not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious. Chicken sandwich made from mushrooms. Burger patty made from chickpeas. Fried cauliflower. Everything was delicious!

I ate there yesterday and was incredibly impressed. The service was outstanding. I am also impressed by their ability to cook oil free at my request. I ordered the Super Bowl and added a grilled Chana patty. They also added grilled onions, red bell pepper, mushroom and garlic, seasoned with chipotle and cooked it all oil free for me. They offered me herb sauce and a mint dressing, which were both oil free to substitute instead of the dressing that salad came with normally. I was really impressed by the fresh ingredients, the jicama, beets, golden raisins, pecans the outstanding crunch and freshness of it all in addition to the warm grilled vegetables and Patty that was on top. Outstanding meal. I highly recommend.

Tasty Vegan Food - Edit
Lots of different options and it wasn't very busy when I went in. I got the Chana burger and the Blackberry Sage Tea which were both great! It's my first time here and so far no complaints.
Read moreSecond time going here I got the Taco Salad. It was definitely filled with lots of fresh veggies and had some sort of cooked mushroom "meat" that was pretty good. The dressing had a citrus tang to it that complimented it well. I wouldn't personally name it a taco salad as it didn't taste much like the taco salads I'm used to but otherwise it was real good.
Third time's a charm! This time I got the Crispy Veggie Ball tacos. They had excellent flavor. The mango pieces on it added a whole other flavor to it that made it even better. They were on corn tortillas that were a bit hard to pick up to eat because of how full they were but once you accomplished that, you are good to go. There were 3 small fried veggie balls on each taco (there come as a 2 pack). I feel like there could have been a little more of those but otherwise I would highly recommend. They cost a little over $11.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I am super grateful for a vegan restaurant with a wide variety of food choices! The veggie ball tacos were fantastic and the blackberry cheesecake was amazing! I’m going back for lunch😄

The restaurant is small, with limited seating. A little more seating al fresco outdoors. Green Grill bills themself as 100% plant-based, organic, and healthy vegan restaurant. I thought the food was very good. If you like Indian food, you would like this place, although it is certainly not stereotypical Indian food, more of a fusion of styles and flavors. I ordered the Samosa Burger, which was nice. The burger tasted similar to the filling you would get in a samosa. My spouse ordered the Tiki Masala Bowl. It was a salad with rice and meatballs in a sauce. It was filling. The meatballs (Kofta?) were delicious. Also, a Blackberry Sage lemonade. We also ordered potato cakes, which were potato paddies that had a little spicy kick to it. The owner was super nice. This place was a little busy and had a good vibe. If you want something a little different, this is a nice choice. Prices were reasonable.
Read moreI had to update as we returned, and the service was extremely quick. The Samosa burger is no longer available, but I had the Mushroom Chana Burger. It was very good and filling. Price was about $32 for two people. We brought home leftovers for the Parrot and Poodle and they loved it too.

We were visiting from out of town and found this gem via Happy Cow. Great selection of Indian-influenced foods. Salad was wonderful, as we're cauliflower tempura. Warrior tea was excellent! Will definitely come back!

Googled and found this family owned business. Very clean place great food quality. We tried the tacos and burger. Both exceeded expectations. They sell the burgers (frozen) and teas as well. The teas were amazing as well. Customer Service was awesome.

Got the VCC items and they were good but not great. When I eat out and pay good money I look for great. I did hear many people saying their regular menu items are really good though so I’m looking forward to when I’m in the area again to try it out. Owners are nice. Really glad Rancho has an all-vegan joint and more are needed. Black owned.

Really enjoyed lunch here. Their menu seems to be largely Indian influenced. I had the Samosa burger, which was quite good. The herbed fries were very tasty and not at all oily. I loved the sage blackberry drink. And to finish it off I had to try the Tiramisu - I was not disappointed! Definitely give this place a try!

Had the mushroom Chana burger and it was so good! Also tried the samosa burger with cheese and it was tasty too! Had the tiramisu cheesecake and cookie bites for dessert and both were quite good! Chatted with an associate named Anders and he was great and super passionate about the food! Rumor has it two more Sacramento locations are in the works…woot woot! Still lots of menu items to try…will be back for sure! 😃

Probably the best vegan food we had while travelling through Sacramento. Great, mostly healthy food. The cookie dough bites whilst nice tasting, probably should be called something else as they don’t really resemble cookie dough.

Fresh Vegan with an Indian Twist! - Edit
I found this spot when I was up in the Rancho Cordova area just outside Sacramento. The restaurant is clean and has a good selection of bowls, appetizers, entrees and teas. I sampled the Zesty Manchuria Bowl which had veggie meatballs in a hot and sweet sauce over rice noodles, greens, scallions, cucumber, ginger, bell pepper and sesame ginger vinaigrette. The dish was very fresh and tasty with just the right balance of zestiness to make each forkfull tasty. Will have to sample more of their menu next time I’m in the area.
