First impressions matter! I walked in and was greeted by friendly staff…and it was air conditioned! It’s been over 100 degrees all week here at the river! Located on tue Main Street in town. Real dishes, delicious vegan options - many of them!

Walked in to get a snack before realizing 95% of the menu was vegan friendly. Didn’t realize they served Indian food but was pleasantly surprised to learn that they did. I had low expectations, but decided to give the Indian vegetable kofta a shot and was very pleasantly surprised.

So tasty! There are a few other places with 1 or 2 vegan choices-some fancy place down the street with $24 Brussels sprouts…really? But Green Grill does it right! Veggies aren’t expensive to buy, so why not be reasonable? They did :)

Indian based fusion with American grill - Edit
I was so pleased to find Green Grill on my bicycle trip. My good fortune as they had just opened for business. I ordered plenty including a slice of cake. I left happy with a full belly. I didn't realize but it is another branch of the place I had tried in Rancho Cordova just weeks prior. I will go to either whenever I have the chance.

This is my first time in. They have fries, and other appetizers, a selection of salads, burgers, tacos and a chicken sandwich, deserts as well as drinks, Ayurvedic teas and lattes - all vegan. We tried the mushroom Chana burger, fries and the Super Bowl salad. All were good. I’d definitely recommend grabbing lunch here.

Back again! Came in about 12:30 and there was people eating inside and out. Glad to see them busy. I had the Chipotle Moong Burger. Kind of spicy and lots of crunchy veggies on the burger. Seasoned fries had good flavor. Raspberry Chocolate Cheesecake was not overly sweetened. Glad the cheesecake is raw and does not have a overpowering coconut taste.

A long time fan of Baagan. Seeing the rebranded name here is great!
I had the Mushroom Chana Burger, it’s pretty good size with lots of veggies. I add a little catchup to it too. The fries were good, pretty basic fries. Maybe I need to try the seasoned ones next time. Wife ordered Cauliflower Tempura, I tried and was good. Hot Turkish Coffee was nice. For a small dessert we had Cookie Dough Bites.
Everything was really good and looking forward to our next trip from Petaluma. Also gave the owner a Happy Cow window sticker. Next Green Grill needs to open in Petaluma!

Made a nice drive from Petaluma to visit this new location. They have a few locations already in Sacramento area but nice to get one in Sonoma County. The owner is amazing and super friendly. The staff was amazing and attentive. The food? Fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try more. So many options that it was hard to choose what to try first. I settled on the Mushroom Chana Burger. The wife had the Taco Salad bowl. Daughter had the Tiki Masala Bowl. All were amazingly good.
