Nice vegan breakfast - Edit
I had the vegan pita and it was quite good. It is a nice little cafe with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the meal. My husband is an omnivore and had a traditional No -vegan breakfast and he said that was very good too.

Solid vegan options and great drinks - Edit
Had the Shangri-la wrap with tofu. It was packed with tofu and so even though it is a smaller portion than expected, I still left satisfied. Their mimosas are very stiff so I definitely recommend getting one!

Really great, quick service! - Edit
I thought coming in on a Sunday morning of a long weekend would be impossible, but our food came out super quickly. We sat outside. I had the vegan breakfast sandwich which was really great! They also veganized their maple latte. Would recommend!

Good Tofu Scramble - Edit
We grabbed breakfast at Green Goddess Cafe twice during our trip to Stowe and it was pretty good. I got the curried tofu scramble both times because I loved that it was packed with veggies and the home fries are fantastic. They did say they could substitute tofu in any of the other scrambles as well when I asked. Coffee was good and they have out milk in the back if you ask for it but they don't have it out on the coffee bar with the other milk and creamers. I also had a banana and strawberry smoothie with coconut milk which was also good. All in all a nice spot to grab food but didn't blow me away with the vegan options. We meant to try the lunch one day as it seems like you could make an impressive BYO salad but we didn't get the chance. We will definitely be back next time we're in Stowe

Great vegan breakfast. - Edit
They do not specifically have it on their menu, but they will sub a tofu scramble for any of the scrambled egg dishes. The huevos rancheros with tofu was delicious!
Read moreAlso, the bread is not vegan but they will sub it out for pita bread.

Lunch not bad, breakfast not friendly - Edit
No vegan breakfast options as of 2018, would not replace eggs with tofu for breakfast despite having tofu on a lunch item.

Cons: Disappointingly non vegan friendly. , Expected better

Worth visiting but on the pricier side - Edit
I've been to Green Goddess several times and I suppose my impression has been mixed. It has a bit of a hippy feel and can sometimes get quite crowded but it has some nice options.
Read moreI've often had the Athena Scramble and occasionally the Poor Man's Scramble for breakfast (both vegetarian and good). Unfortunately, I tried the Garden Tofu Wrap (which I believe is the only vegan option for breakfast right now) one time and personally didn't enjoy it. My boyfriend really enjoys their traditional breakfast sandwich.
The Goddess Grilled Cheese sandwich (vegetarian) is good as well. In terms of vegan options for sandwiches, there appear to be two choices at this time.
They have large salads, smoothies, coffee drinks.
I always find it to cost more than it seems it should so this is a downside for me. Tips are also expected. They will either call out the name when the order is ready (for you to pick up at the counter) or they may bring it to your table.
It's definitely a popular choice in Stowe that I wish was more affordable.
Pros: Several vegetarian options, Generally friendly staff
Cons: Limited vegan options, Pricey, Can sometimes get quite crowded

Room for improvement - Edit
This cozy little cafe is a very cute place to have a casual breakfast or lunch if you find yourself in Stowe. I specifically went here because I saw this place listed on Happy Cow and thus expected a good number of tasty vegan options to be available, sadly, this was not the case. The cafe is certainly vegan friendly and offers a decent number of vegan options, but not nearly enough for the way they advertise themselves as the veg spot of Stowe. The menu does have a good number of animal-based dishes, and a generous number of vegetarian ones, but as far as vegan options go, there are one or two wraps and a few salads. I had the tofu wrap for breakfast and it was good although nothing really impressive or particularly noteworthy. It was not overly greasy, the filling was well seasoned, and the salsa was mild and quite good. However, I do feel the price was a bit high for what I was receiving.
Read moreAdditionally, this is one of those places where you order and pay at the cash register, and we were standing there waiting for a good six minutes before one of the baristas deigned to look at us. And this was when the place was practically empty at 8am. Could certainly improve their service.
Overall, I do recommend this as a good breakfast place for vegans in Stowe, since it might be hard to find better local options, but it is definitely not worth going out of your way to eat here. They didn't even have any vegan pastries. Disappointing.
Pros: Vegan options, Cozy, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Few vegan options, pricey, bad service

cool place, limited vegan options - Edit
A comfortable and cool place. The tofu wrap is vegan, besides that, there's only smoothies that are vegan. Wrap was nice for a good price so a great place if you get hungry on the road.

A welcome vegan bite with omnis - Edit
I love Stowe. It is a great town. But it is really hard to find a spot with even one vegan item on the menu! This place had more than one and it was tasty! I tried a grilled tofu wrap. The tofu had been marinated in, among other things, maple syrup. Delightful! A great place to get a vegan smoothie, too. And I was encouraged that the kids menu had vegan items too. Hooray!
