Morning visit - Edit
we visited this place in the morning. We misread the opening hours and he still let us in and prepared verrry nice food 😇 I had a vegan pizza, my friend had a falafel pitta. There are a lot of options and I assume they can make all of them vegan.

The restaurant is small but authentic. They have combo menus with good price and portion. We also ordered mushroom ceviche afterwards but ceviche wasn't my type but would love to be back for the falafel !

Definition of doing one thing and doing it excellently. The falafel are so tasty and such big portions for really decent price - this was by far our cheapest dinner in Cusco!
Read moreI got the vegan durum mega and my partner the veggie one. Absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and very filling. Lovely!
They also do pizza - but we didn't try this. Service is a little less good (we ordered fries but never got any!) but to be honest given the quality of food and what you pay for it, we didn't feel it mattered!

The vegan falafel wrap for 16 Soles was amazing! Great portion size. It also came with a lot of avocado, and a generous side of homemade hummus and tomato dip. Highly recommend!!!

I had the vegan durum, it was a tad dry but with the hummus and spicy sauce (not really spicy at all), it was better. Quite a large serving but price has increased to 16 soles. I think the vegan cheese was coconut based because I could taste some coconut flavour.

Cheap and very tasty restaurant - Edit
The food is top notch, the prices too. One less nice thing is that the owner's family is all working there, including their young children. But they are not always working, this was the case twice in four visits. It is a privilege not to help your parents as a child, which not every family can afford.

Tasty food, slow service and child labour - Edit
Walked in and there was no one to greet us so we headed upstairs and took a seat at a table. A young boy no older than 12 took our order which was kind of uncomfortable - he seemed to be managing the entire front of house while his parents prepared the food and drinks. There was another small boy in the corner maybe about 4 years old who just stared at TikTok for the whole time we were there (a long time as the service was so slow). The food was good when it did come but overall a bit of a weird experience.

I came with a friend for lunch. We had a durum with super tasty falafel and dips and a lomo saltado with mushrooms that also came with crispy falafel. The maracuja juice was huge and super fresh! Super friendly people and cute location, highly recommended!

Cheap and yummy falafel - Edit
A really good place for lunch with very cheap meals (15-20 soles). The homemade falafel which is the star of every dish is some of the best I’ve had. The vegan mixed grill was superb! Also could not report child labour, but the service was indeed a bit weird.

This for me was a uncomfortable experience.

He’s just way to young for doing this job and he was clearly tired.
Menu has both vegan and vegetarian options and is in both English and Spanish.
Food was tasty though but service is a bit slow because everything is freshly made.
Price was very cheap and portions are generous.
I just don’t know how I feel about the child labour.

We came there for dinner and when we arrived the restaurant was empty and a kid ran down the stairs to serve us. He was our waiter for the whole evening and it was really strange cause he was super young and not really getting what we were ordering. Food was delicious though but the vibe was not so comfy.

Nice restaurant with a bunch of vegan and veggie options. Their vegan green grill bowl is delish and so are their Durums. Really recommend trying their kombuchas too (maracuyá is 👌)

I came here several times, while the young boy was helping to serve, there were two older family members who did most of it. Didn't feel uncomfortable, but was there earlier during the day.

The service is pretty slow and they only come by once to bring the order. The kitchen is upstairs so it is kind of hard to call them

For me this was an absolute uncomfortable experience. We came in and there was no one to greet us except a 9 year old. He brought us the menus, took our order, cleaned the tables, took the money... Having to take initiative to ask a kid to take your order is a very uncomfortable situation. I do not understand how other people coming here take this so lightly?! It was 9pm by the time we'd left and he was clearly tired! He also seemed uncomfortable the whole time... which is normal! No business for a kid to be doing this kind of job.

Good food, get rid of child labour - Edit
The food was good, but something I cannot agree with is having your child work for you in the restaurant. I understand families here in Peru are not the wealthiest but that should NEVER be a reason for child labour. Besides, it makes your customer service and experience abominable. Restaurant is small enough to run with just the adults while the children go and do what they do best: play and have a good time.
