Fresh and delicious - Edit
The Rueben was amazing. The bread was toasted perfectly. The Russian sauce and grilled mushrooms were perfect. The Caesar salad dressing was well done too. Dessert was good. I didn’t feel heavy or as if they used a lot of processed food to mimic flavors.

Wonderful Experience! - Edit
Nestled in the heart of La Jolla, the Green Door Café offers a delightful vegan dining experience. The ambiance is charming, complemented by live music. The lasagna, paired with a scrumptious Caesar salad, stood out as a highlight with generous portions. The savory sweet potato pancakes were a delightful appetizer choice, and the tiramisu provided a perfect finish to the meal. Overall, a truly incredible dining experience with delicious vegan options.

Favorite spot in La Jolla - Edit
Delicious food and cute outdoor patio! We ordered the lasagna and penne alfredo, which both came with a Cesar salad. Both meals were extremely delicious and made with cashew cheese. We also ordered the raw tiramisu which was the best desert we have ever had. Highly highly recommend this place when visiting La Jolla!

Close to La Jolla Cove and next to Trilogy (not associated), but love that there’s vegan friendly options next to each other!
Read moreStopping it, you’re greeted to a lush alleyway and make your way to the ordering station (order/pay first) then find your seating. When I arrived someone was playing guitar which was awesome.
Service was friendly and food tasty. The tres (3) jackfruit tacos were yummy along with the Caesar salad. Would totally come back to try other items.
Pros: All Vegan/Plant-Based, Lovely Outdoor Seating/Alleyway (Cozy but Cute), Yummy Taco Plate (Lunch Special)
Cons: Interior is Cozy (small)

Pretty seating & delicious food - Edit
The waitress was very sweet and recommended my mom a dish that she loved. The entrance is sort of whimsical and pretty, besides the bathroom store that you can see in the windows, lol. I got the red velvet pancakes and they were super nummy. Would go again!

Adorable Restaurant!! - Edit
The Green Door Cafe is a cute restaurant next to Trilogy Sanctuary. The service was pretty slow and the smoothies weren’t my favorite, but I loved the pancakes! The rest of the food was decent, but pancakes and the breakfast burrito made the top of my list.
