Great Wall Chinese restaurant - Edit
I wanted a vegetable dish with fried tofu added into it. I got the black bean asparagus dish. Luckily they had a fried tofu dish That I could add to it. They were kinda hard core in that they don't just add tofu to veggies. You have to get their "dishes".
Read morePros: The asparagus with black beans sauce was wonderful, The fried tofu tasted wonderful in the above dish, The place is clean and quiet and very nice.
Cons: No dislikes

Very accommodating for vegan’s - Edit
Was visiting the area, and found a gem. Plenty of tofu items, fresh veggies, and they held the egg in the veggie fried rice, and veganized it for us. A Great Wall indeed

Well… pros and cons - Edit
If I could do half stars this place would be a 3.5. They have some tasty flavors, but the quality of the ingredients is noticeably lacking. For example, I ordered the asparagus in black bean sauce. The sauce was DELICIOUS, it had a great umami balance… but the asparagus was almost inedible. Some of the shoots were like chewing on a paint brush. I wound up having to toss most of it. When I brought this up to the waitress she didn’t seem to care, she just said that’s what they got at Walmart and shrugged it off.
Read moreWhich brings me to another point - the staff was inconsiderate. The two women in the front were practically shouting a lively conversation in Chinese across the restaurant frequently, as if there was no one in the dinning room. It didn’t help the experience.
Overall I would give this place another shot. I did love the lemon tofu. It had great lemon flavor - again, they seem good with the sauces.
Bottom line: Don’t expect to be wowed.
Pros: A good vegan option for Sonora, Good sauces, Many options are vegan or can be veganized
Cons: Drab location and interior , Low quality ingredients, Inconsiderate staff

Phenomenal Tofu Dishes! - Edit
As vegans living in this rural area, we support Great Wall all the time for their delicious, flavorful Sesame Tofu, Sweet & Sour Tofu, and Kung Pao Tofu as well as their vegetable dishes with fresh, perfectly cooked veggies (they have a large Vegetarian section that is mostly vegan). The Chinese restaurant closer to me doesn't offer ANY tofu options so I am eternally grateful for Great Wall.
Read moreTheir service is also friendly and they appreciate their customers. However, don't use the Order Online option as it's not checked frequently, call in instead.
Pros: delicious tofu dishes, fresh quality vegetables, fast
