The cook makes nearly everything from scratch. The buns, the tomato salsa.... The vegan meat is really good and with all the fresh ingredients... Double patty recommended. If you like burgers, you should definitely check this place out. I'm not a burger fan and I loved it. Lovely cook as well.

This is genuinely the best veggie burger I’ve ever had in my life. The cookie butter milkshake was also to die for! The guy working there was super friendly and relaxed and gave us a little moonwalk to flex. I wish that I could have gone everyday.

Me and my partner had been struggling in Japan for vegan food and mainly surviving on hash browns and sweet tofu pockets. We did visit a few restaurants which were good also. When we came to shinjuku we we hungry and found this place on happy cow, we’ll despite been two stops in the tube it was a great find! Amazing tasting burger which lived up to the hype! So tasty! Oishii!! We had fries and tater tots and finished with ice cream all vegan of course! Will go back for sure ❤️👍

My meat eating friends actually suggested this place - they went into it and enjoyed it, not realising it was vegan, and it became a regular meal place for them. While it's not a place you can sit in for a long time and relax in, I really enjoyed my food! But then, I love burgers haha. I had a great shake here too!! Seriously one of the best shakes I've had in Tokyo.

Quaint restaurant (three tables) and three burgers on the menu. All vegan is what drew is in and, we happen to be from Michigan (great lakes state), so it was kismet. The burgers are delicious and despite being “fast food,” tasted as if they were made with love and care. The menu is english on one side. They were so friendly. Alcohol available.

We live close to the place and got take away sets - 1 Superior burger and 1 Ontario burger. Taste was not so special, especially for the superior burger ( the Ontario one had good sauce). We checked the reviews and were expecting much more !

We tried each of the burgers and they were all delicious! Such fluffy burger buns and tasty fillings. Tater tots were amazing too! The black sesame milkshake was so yummy and thick I had to eat it with a spoon!! All round amazing meal! You have to go if ever in Tokyo!

No doubt, Great Lakes has my favorite vegan burgers in Tokyo! It had been awhile since we ate here, but I will definitely make it a point to come by more often. This time we had the Superior Burger with tater tots, the Michigan Burger, double and with French fries, and a mint chocolate chip milkshake. Superb! Their original patties are outstanding, and the tomato jam gives such a great taste! The milk shake was thick and full of flavor. Really, you can't go wrong, so hurry and get yourself a burger and a milkshake at Great Lakes!
