Beggars can’t be choosers - Edit
Spent the day at Great Keppel Island to do some snorkelling and popped in here for some hot chips while we waited for the ferry back to the mainland.
Read moreRustic chips is the only menu item listed as Vegan, comes with aioli but staff confirmed it is not Vegan.
Chips were ok (hard to mess up chips) but they weren’t salted; a couple of sachets of salt fixed that.
Didn’t enquire about whether any other meals could be made vegan, but if you’re coming to the island for the day I recommend bringing a packed lunch.
Restaurant accepts card but has a $10 minimum.

Hi Faz. I apologise if you were only offered chips if it was within the normal meal times. We do have vegan meals available during our lunch hours of 11.30 to 2.30 (week days). Weekends the full lunch menu is available between 11.30 to 3.30pm. We are also very excited to announce that there will be a much healthier range of food available outside of meal times including sushi, sandwiches, fruit cups etc. We are continually improving the meal services that we offer.
