It's a bistro style family restaurant at the Slieve Donard end of Newcastle.

Isn't the cheapest but there's clearly effort and thought gone in.
Got the tacos and they are chickpea patties flavoured with Chinese 5 spice , which is good but I reckon I could match myself.
Happy with it, just not blown away. Quick service and friendly staff. If you want hot and more substance in a meal in the main road, go here.
Why not go here then to the community cinema across the road?

The lentil falafel tacos were delish. That was the only vegan option. They didn't have a vegan burger, only veggie. My veggie partner had that and it appeared to be a Linda Mccartney mozzarella burger.

The food in GJ is really tasty. For starters, I had the superfood salad and my partner had the soup of the day. Mains were the tacos and vegan burger. All were delicious. Good wine and beer selection too. I would highly recommend.

Vegan Menu, Delicious Food - Edit
Lovely restaurant on the Main Street of Newcastle with nice decor, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a separate vegan and vegetarian menu with three clearly marked vegan starters, three vegan mains and a vegan dessert. I went for the bruschetta to start which was lovely and then the red lentil falafel tacos for main which were a show stopper. Would heartily recommend.
