Overpriced but nice slices - Edit
Lots of green juices available, plant milk options and vegan cabinet food. The vegan slices (bounty bar yum!) are to die for but also extremely expensive, think $7 for a chocolate bar sized slice.

Nice staff, great smoothie - Edit
Nice place with lots of smoothies and bowls and cakes. Food tastes great as well but it is precooked and wasn’t any special

Has potential but not quite there - Edit
I ate here a couple months ago and ordered a vegan Mexican wrap. It was way overpriced at $10 for a very small portion and tasted like a reheated frozen burrito you buy at the supermarkets, not very good at all. I think the menu for smoothies and smoothie bowls looks delicious though and it's good to see another cafe with a whole food, healthy philosophy. I just chose the wrong thing.

Cons: Way overpriced, Subpar food, Small portions

Healthy food in The Colombo - Edit
The Colombo is a cool little mall with nice shops in up and coming Sydenham. It is just 5 minutes from the city centre or a 20 minute walk. The mall itself has a range of lovely shops selling clothing, jewellery, home decor and other interesting things plus there is a cinema showing art house films. Lots of parking and on a few bus routes so it is easy to get to.
Read moreIn the center of the mall is a food court with lots of interesting food options and no generic McDonalds or Burger King restaurants. There's a dumpling place, tacos, sushi and Gre3n.
Gre3n has a range of smoothies/brunch and acai bowls/shakes/juices/raw/paleo treats on offer with vegan options marked clearly with a 'v'. They have coconut yogurt and a range of plant milks. It's usually busy so be prepared to wait. They also have a few savoury options such as salads and a felafel salad but there were out when I went.
There is plenty of seating at the tables and chairs in the food court area.
Pros: vegan options clearly marked, friendly staff, healthy choice
