Nice place, few vegan options

This is a nice spot with a 'family run' feel interior and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly.

There was only one vegan main option which was a sunflower seed pesto spaghetti-style dish. It was nice enough, but nothing I can't make at home, so £14 for it felt a bit rich... I had a foccacia starter with an olive oil & balsamic dipping pot which was delicious. The balsamic was so thick and sweet like treacle you could tell it was good quality.

I enjoyed my evening there but wouldn't return unless a new menu came out with something really interesting on. Definitely better for vegetarians and meat eaters. If there's only going to be one vegan main option they should really make it stand out!

We waited about an hour for our mains, so I had to ask if we'd been forgotten. They apologised and said there had been a rush but I would expect the kitchen to be better prepared for a Friday night at prime time!
