Great little restaurant - Edit
The restaurant is located inside the market so it's very casual. They offer several different dishes daily and most are vegan or can be made vegan. I went for a vegan burger with seitan and it was delicious with home made fries!

Ce restaurant au niveau des halles donne un atmosphère très chaleureux. Les restaurants d un côté et de grandes tables a côté. La cuisine est bonne. Je recommande le burger et le café gourmand pour tester tous les desserts 😅

On pourrait se dire que c'est du fastfood, mais c'est bien mieux que ça : finement cuisiné et assaisonné, chaque plat est une explosion de délicieuses saveurs.

The food was super delicious, the vegan burger with roasted seitan was so flavourful and incredibly yummy. The fries were some of the best fries I ever had, so moist but slightly crunchy at the same time, never had something with this texture before, extremely delicious. Most of the things on the menu seemed vegan. Staff was very friendly.

Had the onigirazu which was large and tasty. On the menu it is not marked as vegan but the staff told us that this was a mistake on the menu and it is actually vegan. Get here early - we arrived at 3:30pm and they had run out of lots of things on the menu.

Je me suis régalée et mon ami aussi. Les prix sont vraiment abordables et la qualité des ingrédients est top, tout a beaucoup de goût et est bien cuisiné.

A lucky find while sightseeing in Poiters city centre - Edit
Having walked past plenty of standard sandwich bars, what a wonderful surprise to find the Grand Ours, just next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. I had to queue and some dishes were sold out, but that was a sign that the food was good.

This is located inside a market place. Marché Notre Dame so we didn't find it immediately. Almost everything was marked as vegan (vegetalien) and some as vegan and gluten free.

Went there for brunch, but I guess I was there too early (10 A.M.) because I couldn’t order any despite it being on the menu. Instead I took a bagel with a cup of tea. Pretty good and filling option, felt really fresh. The stuff was lovely and very helpful.

Lovely vegetarian restaurant with a lot of vegan option. Had an amazing beetroot burger and mash potatoes with vegetable and they were very very good. Starter meal desert 14€, burger 7€ chips 2,5£. Everything homemade and right portion. Pet friendly. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is the toilet. The restaurant is inside the market and the toilet is in parking, it was disgusting. But the food and staff all 5 stars.

Un petit snack/bar, avec un comptoir, vous pouvez manger sur place, ou emporter. Bio, végétarien et un panel de choix vegan assez large. J’ai pris l’assiette du jour, qui comportait (entre autre) notamment une soupe de pois cassées délicieuse et un genre de risotto (j’ai oublié l’intitulé) avec des grains de blé bien crémeux. Et une tarte façon tatin vegan, qui vous laisse un petit goût de pas assez, une fois terminée.
Read morePetit bémol, l’emplacement, le comptoir est sous la halle du marché Notre-Dame, l’endroit est très fréquenté le Samedi (à cause du marché). La qualité de l’assiette aide à faire abstraction de l’agitation environnante (et c’est certainement beaucoup plus calme les autres jours).
