Very nice option for ice cream in the area - Edit
Ice cream place in Bonn Poppelsdorf. Vegan ice cream flavours are clearly labelled with green plates. Flavours are good, with a nice array of options that go beyond just fruit ice. The place itself has a nice, inviting atmosphere with comfortable seats indoors as well as outdoors. The ice cream vending machine is also a fun idea with a lot of vegan options.

Granatella is a family-run business that offers comparably many vegan options. At their ice cream parlor, you can get cups or cones filled with your choice of gelato, but also proper ice cream sundaes.
Read moreIf you ask for a vegan sundae, they will give you one extra scoop of ice cream instead of whipped cream. You can choose the ice cream yourself from their occasionally changing selection of flavors.
In addition to that, there is an icecream vending machine, which operates 24/7 and offers pre-packaged icecream in small or medium-sized cups - spoon included. Here, you can get ice cream for take-out whenever you have a craving! Day or night!
Tastewise, I thought that the flavor of the gelato was okay. The vegan, nut-based gelato felt kinda watery and I'd wish for it to be creamier. But I was happy to have more vegan options than at other ice cream parlors in the city.
The ice cream parlor is rather large, there is seating indoors and outdoors. Staff was friendly and helpful. #Veganuary
