Weird experience via delivery - Edit
My experience was via ordering on UberEats. The menu indicated salad, but what arrived was definitely not a traditional salad by any means. It was a hunk of cabbage and some random ingredients thrown in. I also got some mushroom bites (they were green?) that were quite tasty.

Delicious vegan food, mostly Asian dishes - Edit
I love this place. I’ve been coming here for years. The staff is always nice. My favorite is the grains garden entree! So many vegetables in a delicious, light sauce. Meat eaters and non meat eaters can all find something they like here.

Got the Pad Thai, it was a little sweet for my taste, but I loved having a place to get vegan pad thai! Friend got the Panang Curry which was delicious and the rice that came with it was amazing as well. Also got the dragon balls which hit the spot. Liked that it was order at the front and self serve water which made service run much faster.

I ordered delivery from here, and I was blown away. I got three items: The Banh Mi, The House Noodles, and the Buffalo Cauliflower. The Banh Mi was delicious. They put a thin layer of carrot and tarot over the top instead of the traditional shaved kind. This made every bite even and consistent. It may be a bit too salty for some, but it was perfect for me. The Noodles were my favorite item. They are fettucini noodles in yellow curry with tofu, potatoes, carrots, onions, and green beans. The curry is sweet and flavorful. I got a few spicy bites, but mostly, it was mild. The Buffalo cauliflower is precisely what you want out of deep-fried cauliflower. When you order it, the buffalo sauce is on the side with some ranch, so they arrive crispy. Strong recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious! My husband ordered the Philly and fries. My daughter was a little skeptical about the menu initially, but she ended up choosing the Chow Mein. I went with the Yellow Tofu Curry. We all ended up sharing all of it. Delicious!

I'm surprised this place doesn't get slammed. I've been here a dozen times. Food is always delicious. Atmosphere is nice as well! The way the seating is set up makes it easy to accommodate larger groups of friends as well.

We loved our trip to Grains! They are a vegan Thai restaurant with new American influences. Our favorite dishes were the Buffalo cauliflower and pad Thai, we also had the mushroom calamari (which tasted exactly like calamari) and the fettuccine dish. Overall great restaurant, nice staff, tasty food, and in a cute neighborhood.

This place is a fast causal restaurant with Asian fusion dishes that are all delicious. I’ve tried the buffalo cauliflower which is a delicious standard execution with ranch and veggies on the side, the Tokyo fries which are packed with incredible flavor and creamy-crunchy goodness, and the black pepper edamame which is simple and fantastic (worth licking your fingers!) There’s beers on tap and other delicious alcoholic drinks including ciders which is the cherry on top. It hasn’t been busy either time I’ve gone, on the week or weekend. Give this place some well deserved business 👍

Second time here, but just with hubby this visit. We ordered Holy Shiitake and Tokyo Fries as starters and Pan Seared Fettuccine as our main.
Read moreThe starters came out quickly and we dove in to both. Portion size on both were generous and I would order both again. The fries had some toppings, but were just fries for the most part.
When the main arrived, we thought maybe they brought us the wrong thing because it actually looked like soup. The light gravy broth could actually double as soup as it was quite flavorful and not too thick. The flavor was excellent and the slight sear on the noodles added some texture. This one is a winner!
Looking forward to our next visit to try more dishes!

We stumbled upon this gem through the happy cow app when we needed a dinner spot that had options my Omni husband would enjoy as well as my two vegan kids and me. This place did not disappoint! My husband got the pepper-glazed “chicken” strips (breaded oyster mushrooms) and these were really, really good - he loved them, I had the house salad which was delicious, we split the tofu nuggets that my eldest daughter loved, and the kids shared the off menu kids popcorn “chicken” (fried cauliflower - this was REALLY good) and off menu kids pasta - yummy as well. Everything sorta comes out when it’s ready which worked just fine for us since our kids were starving and needed something quick. We would 100% go back.

1st Stop After Landing - Edit
We are in San Diego for just a couple days. We flew in from Chicago and we were starving. We decided to come here before our trip and it did not disappoint. I had the Drunken Angel and C had the Philly Cheese sandwich. We're probably getting some to go for later or we will just come back. Very spacious with easy parking.
