Respite from tomato salad - Edit
This was the only veggie place I tried in Lisbon. It was a nice break from a solid "tomato salad diet" at all of the non-veg places. I had the tofu steak. I shared starters and desserts with my friends. The desserts were fine but nothing special. We had uninspiring guacamole and croquettes to start. The croquettes and tofu steak were definitely worth having again, but everything else was a bit so-so. The decore was nice but there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Based on the price, I wouldn't rush back.

Great Place - 100% veggie - Edit
The first tofu curry I've had where I could actually see why the tofu was in there. Very friendly staff and amazing desserts. There is a vegetarian "codfish" flavoured sausage which I think explains an earlier reviewer's comment. The (very friendly) owner was very clear that he has never served meat/fish.

Uma boa experiência! - Edit
Fomos jantar numa 2ªfeira.

Just what I needed - Edit
With a wait over for my train from Sao Apolonia, I climbed through the backstreets to a high spot with great views of Lisbon. Graca77 was the only one marked in Happy Cow as open at 15.00 in that area. The temperature was high 20's but 77 was cool. The menu was 1 soup, 2 mains and about 5 desserts. They added a cold soup which I had (gazpacho €2,5). The presentation of the main (quinoia and mango salad €12) was eye-popping and each dish tasted fresh and delicious. The walls of the building were very thick making a large area inside the window where some of the fruit and veg were ripening. I saw the chef come out and choose the ingredients for a tapas that someone had ordered to eat out at tables over the street under the trees. The lime tart(€3.5) was great with a small espresso (€0.75). I stayed for about two hours with no pressure. For me it was ideal.

Amazing place - Edit
As far as we could tell this was actually all vegetarian (ie no fish). They were very friendly and knew what was vegan (most food was!). They were passionate about the food and wine they sold. Lovely chilled out atmosphere, wooden tables and home made shabby chic furniture... Will definitely go back on the same trip!

Limited menu and a bit pricey, but clearly marked vegan options and very tasty - Edit
Graça 77 has a small menu with only 2 main courses and a soup, plus a selection of pastitos (=Portuguese tapas). Mostly vegan and clearly marked on the menu. Expensive but very good wine. Incredibly tasty food and reasonable portions. Good service too and friendly staff. Overall a lovely dining experience. Bonus points for having vegan desserts.

Eye pleasing - Edit
I liked the deco of this restaurant a lot. It is somewhat oldfashioned and traditional, but at the same time elegant and not too old.
Read moreThe menu is rather small with some vegetarian plates that can be made vegan. I liked a lot hummus, and croquettes with homemade veganaise. The main was OK but not so special. I also liked the wide selection of vegan desserts.
Nice staff.
Pros: vegan deserts, decoration and location, nice staff
Cons: please more vegan options

The setting at the restaurant was very nice, and as far as I can tell all the dishes were vegan and tasty. However, the portions were very small and quite pricy.

Great meal - Edit
I'm writing this review because I'm really shocked by the other two reviews on here. Either things have changed or lot or I'm not sure what people are talking about.
Read moreEverything was tapas style so there were no mains and starters. They brought the food as it was ready but that's normal for a tapas restaurant. The portions were small...but that's because it was tapas! There was no fish on the menu when we were there (which maybe is a new thing given the mention of codfish by another reviewer). We ordered vegan and there were loads of options (in fact I don't even remember seeing non-vegan options on there).
As for the service - in Europe it's pretty normal to have things take a while and the waiters to not give too much of a toss so it doesn't bother me too much.
By far the best vegan food I had in Portugal. I nearly didn't go because of the reviews on here and then a friend of mine who lived in Lisbon told me to try it. So glad I did!
Pros: Really interesting dishes, Local craft beers, Nice communal eating vibes
Cons: You might not get a table, No outside seating

Not vegetarian - Edit
This is not a vegetarian restaurant. It has an appetizer with codfish. The food is good, with vegan options, but the portions are really small (including the drinks). The service and the decor are nice, but I won't return.

really bad - Edit
we tried to make a reservation by phone but it was refused twice because they were "in a hurry". we went there and the owner is crazy and egocentric. he can't stop talking about himself and how bad he thinks the country and the all the people is. the service was bad (main dishes arrived first than the starters). the food was tasty but everything else was really a bad experience
Read moreCons: expensive. worst service ever
