Best dinner of my trip - Edit
Note: This restaurant is all homecooking
Read moreI showed the chef my travel card that says I am vegan and what my restrictions are. He said oh no worries you're vegan I will prepare you a vegan plate. He came back with a packed plate with beans, okra, rice and some other veggies!
He also brought out some pickled peppers to use as a topping and it was fantastic.
The food was so good I ordered a second plate.
I highly recommend going here. The chef explained that some items are unavailable on a day to day basis, it all depends on what ingredients he has. He told me that he has vegan meatballs he makes but didn't have them today but will tomorrow.
Prices are all very reasonable! Nice alternative to the super touristy stuff nearby.
Tldr: Delicious, great vegan options just ask
Pros: The food was delicious, The staff were very nice, The chef was very kind

Overpriced, overhyped - Edit
Went here after seeing that authentic local cuisine is being cooked and served.
Read moreThe place is small, but has a decent vibe. Seemed there are multiple generations working there, including a little boy.
We ordered 2 mixed plates and a turkish honey / walnut pancake and 2 water. This cost us nearly £30- the highest we paid for any dinner in Turkey.
Both vegetarian plates looked different, and because they did not have aubergine and other veggies it consisted of rice, pasta and wine leaves wrapped.
First they also served us meat as well…
Taste of the food was average and does not justify the cost, we spent less in proper restaurants with seating right next to the seaside.
We were over charged as tourists, cannot recommend this place.

Gozleme - Edit
Great to have plenty of options. While the gozleme was crispy and fresh i wish I had something saucy to go with it, a little bland. We tried their meatballs which were veg and herb patties, they had a good flavour but again just could of done with some sauce but that's just my personal preference. You could order the vegetarian plate and there was some casserole veggies which I will have to try next time

Cons: Could do with some hummus or chilli sauce

Must-visit for vegans!!! - Edit
Vegetarian plate (250 lira - is actually vegan, please specify). The chef knows that vegan is different from vegetarian. We ordered the vegan plates almost everyday during our stay.

Sevdim - Edit

Little gem in Ölüdeniz 💜 - Edit
Found this on Google, so I had to make sure to leave a review in here, as not many Vegans seem to know about this place. It's a small family run restaurant, old school , very traditional: just like in your favourite Turkish grandma's kitchen! 🫶🏻😻 Very friendly and helpful with picking Vegan options, and GREAT TASTE ! As usual, I was too hungry and food was too yummy to take pics of the meal before devouring it 😅 But I've been served a mix of each vegan options available at the time ..5 different things served as main, and a lovely complimentary lentil soup served beforehand (menu varies every day, and we've been in the evening: they told us during the day there's even more options!) Way more affordable than more expensive places that don't even offer traditional Turkish food, and always happy to support smaller businesses which, often, end up being the best ! I wish I could give them 5 stars. Thank you 🙏🏻

Delicious home cooking and super nice people - Edit
This little family-owned restaurant truly changed my dining experience as a vegan. They clearly understand the requirements of a plant-based meal and always provide a delicious vegan plate specially prepared for each customer. I stayed in Ölüdeniz for three weeks and visited this restaurant nearly every day. They prepared a different meal each day, providing variety. Most importantly, I appreciated their sweet, kind, and loving welcome. With only a small terrace available, you might find yourself sitting close to and connecting with other people from around the world.

Amazing & Authentic Turkish Food - Edit
We were not disappointed at all by the service and food we received at this local family-owned restaurant. The waiter suggested the 3-dish home-cooked meal of the day and I told him I was vegan and he said that it was no problem and he would surprise me with a plate full of vegan food. When I first saw what he brought me, it looked very simple but wow it was one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve had yet in Turkey! We also ordered a Turkish pancake with potato and spinach which was also good. The bread was homemade and same with the pickled peppers. Prices were great and the restaurant seemed to be popular with both locals and tourists. I’d highly recommend stopping here when in Oludeniz!

Dirty, local home food - Edit
We had breakfast here once. It was okay but the place looked not very clean. It is a just somebody’s house where they cook meals on their kitchen.

Savory Vegan Pancakes - Edit
This is a traditional Turkish restaurant that felt like I was eating at someone’s home. The couple who run it were adorable, offering me tea and pickled veggies. There was a bit of a language barrier but Google translate helps. I had the Gozleme- savory Turkish pancake with spinach and potatoes. Very filling!
