Vegan bakery at Osaka station - Edit
My partner and I tried this as we were both wanting to try anpan and thought it was the perfect way to start a day trip to Osaka.
Read moreThe shop was a bit difficult to spot as it was closed at the time and the shutters were down, but looking at Google maps streetview showed us exactly what to look out for.
The food was delicious and cheap, definitely worth trying! And the staff were super friendly and welcoming!
Pros: Great vegan bakery, Really affordable, Lovely staff

My partner and I both got the red bean breads and they were so delicious! It was really convenient too as we could get off the train, grab something sweet and enjoy our day in Osaka. I just wish I'd tried the white bean one as well!

Absolutely delicious after a full day of shopping. Sweet but not too sweet (by American standards)

Oh so good - Edit
Being a lover of sweet bean treats, this wasn't a hard sell for me. They have a white bean optical and a red bean option, both were delicious.

It was not easy to find the shop but we finally made it! It was awesome, so delicious and well filled. Staff is doing its job and was a little bit slow.

Incredible!! - Edit
I've been trying to find a vegan bun with red bean paste since being in Japan with no luck, ans this absolutely hit the spot. I got one of each, which were as good as each other. Crazy reasonable price, cooked in front of me, and steaming hot when I got it. Wish I had stocked up even more.

DIRECTIONS - Edit
Spent half an hour trying to find it, to find it shut. Here are directions: find the circular outdoor ground-level bus terminal. There’s a white-green ‘Daimaru’ sign on the southwest side of this circular terminal. Enter where my red arrow is and turn immediately left before the ‘JR Lines (South Gate)’ barriers. It’s on your right past Ginza Nisha Kawa and before a place with a couple of Norwegian flags

Dream come true - Edit
On our first trip to Japan I didn’t know these were vegan and I love red bean dishes so to be able to get these tasty pancake buns is amazing. They’re so good!

Nice treat - Edit
Sweet with the consistency of a pancake. I was worried it would be hard to find but honestly Apple Maps was pretty spot of for it. Only 110 yen for one.

While it was hard to find because of the sheer size of the train station, a previous commenter had some tips that helped us.

Regularly here throughout our stay - Edit
Loved having a convenient all-vegan bakery at the station. Specialise in sweet and filling bean cakes. Came here every day for an afternoon treat (still warm) as well as taking some for breakfast the following day. It’s located near the Daimaru shopping centre, outside the JR station gates.
