Decent food but not exactly vegan friendly - Edit
The quality of the food at Goya is pretty good, but their understanding of what vegan food is, needs improvement.
Read moreThey have 2 dishes that are vegetarian and can be modified to be vegan, however when I received my gnocchi - after a whole conversation about being vegan and checking many menu items - my dish arrived with Parmesan shavings on top.
I told a member of staff and I didn’t make a big deal out of it. I’d hoped they would give a discount or offer to change the dish but a simple apology was the extent of it.
Very friendly staff and probably more up-market than I’d usually go for (violin player while eating, mainly older couples enjoying the classic decor of the place).
Pros: Near our hotel, Had a couple of vegan options, Staff were lovely
Cons: Lack of understanding of vegan requirements, Kinda dated interior (maybe classic Italian), Violin player standing in the doorway felt weird

Strange! - Edit
What a very strange experience. I can see how this place used to be good - it’s not anymore. The decor is very outdated and gaudy. They had 1 vegan option - it was very disappointing and expensive. It came with 2 tiny pieces of tofu, and it lacked flavour. I guess it’s a good thing the portion sizes are so tiny 😅
Read moreI went with 3 non vegans and their food quality was poor. The wine selection is average.
The staff were nice but the service was so slow: they were more interested in cleaning tables than attending to diners. We arrived at 8.30 and only left at midnight because everything took forever.
Save your money and time!
Pros: Free sparkling wine on arrival
Cons: Long wait for service and food, Expensive , Food was disappointing

Posh & delicious - Edit
We were severely underdressed for this place after our day at the beach (10 min walk)! That didn't stop the staff being super friendly and giving us complimentary vegan sparkling wine. You can get a vegan set meal or pick from the menu. The staff will check with the kitchen if they are unsure. Food is high quality and fresh. They server the local Coral beer which is also vegan

Lovely vegan dinner - Edit
We went here for a nice treat for my husbands birthday. We had the vegan wine pairing menu, and they did a vegan option for every course. The onion soup was especially good! I asked about vegan food before I booked, and they remember and knew there was a vegan under the booking - no reminding everyone and explaining what a vegan is! They have a service where they pick you up in their vintage car, and a violinist playing during dinner.

Cons: Not many choices for the vegan options , Fruit platter for dessert
