Vegetarian and vegan options. Very good biscuits. Everything is great. Indian-style kitchen. For dinner for your people (a little bit of everything and two cakes) about 25 Euro.

Nice place in Eger, just outside the city centre. Nice terrace with greenery and shade from the sun. Everything is vegetarian, some is vegan. Good portions. Only open for lunch.

I think this is the only vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Eger. A very nice and calm place located in the city center. The menu is changing daily, prices are very affordable.

It was pretty busy just around 12pm when I got there. They have about 10 tables to sit inside. Toilets are in the building but outside of the restaurant.
Read moreWater is free, it's on the table, just get yourself a cup. They have different deals/menus but I just asked the staff what was vegan. Basic English spoken. She asked if I wanted soup and/or dessert too. I payed 2960 forint in total which is totally fair for the amount of food.
Food was delicious. The dessert which looked like tiramisu but apparently wasn't, tasted great!
Definitely recommended!

Great restaurant in the heart of Eger. Had lunch there a couple of times, food was always delicious and the staff very pleasant and glad to assist. Highly recommend 🙂🙂

Now this is the place I can get behind. Their portions are huge, so big that the person behind the counter warned me against getting the second biggest size and I'm glad they did. For a very reasonable price, I got a plate the size of a small table, and everything on it was delicious. The staff is very nice and helpful, the location is lovely, with a terrace, and the place is always bustling with people. If I'm ever in Eger again, this will be my first stop!

Govinda - Edit
I've been eating at and getting take aways from Govinda's ever since it first opened it's doors in 1997. Govinda's is basically the one and only veggie (and vegan) restaurant not only in Eger, but the north-eastern region of Hungary. Delicious food, great prices, highly recommend it!
