Das Restaurant hat sowohl à la carte als auch beim Mittagsbuffet eine sehr große Auswahl an Gerichten, die von vornherein vegan sind - und fast alle anderen können auf Wunsch vegan zubereitet werden.

Absolutely delicious authentic Indian prasadam food, 100% veggie with many vegan options. Only two sauces have garlic - the rest is garlic-free and onion-free (great for Hare Krishna diet). Very friendly devotee staff, simple but loving decor. Around 8-10 tables. Besides food there are other things to buy (like sweets, books, incense, mango pulp, spices, etc.) All is very affordable, especially the all you can eat is a dream. Recommend big time! Every German city should have a restaurant like this! Haribol 🙏🏻

The most authentic Indian food experience - Edit
I‘ve never seen any Restaurant in Germany that recreates an authentic Indian eating experience this well. All other Indian Restaurants tend to cater to German tongues and needs, but not this one! It felt like eating my grandmother‘s food again. Also really healthy, since they focus on ayurvedic food.

Bestes veganes indisches Essen - Edit
Beste und zugleich günstigstes indisches Essen, welches ich jemals gegessen habe! Man kann fast alle Gerichte veganisieren und das Essen ist sehr frisch und gesund. Fast alle Gerichte enthalten eine Suppe und Wraps dazu. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert !

Schönes Restaurant mit sehr vielen veganen aber auch vegetarischen Gerichten. Das was wir gegessen haben war sehr lecker. Kann ich jedem empfehlen da mal vorbeizuschauen. Wer dann Lust hat auch mal selbst etwas indisches zu kochen findet dort auch die wichtigsten Gewürze zum Verkauf.

Lemonades, also home-made ones. Yuppie-free, more of an esoteric clientele. Peaceful.

This is my favourite restaurant in Cologne! You get very delicious and spicy meals, cooked with love. The place is nice, quiet and meditative, the stuff is very friendly. Some ingredients are organic, and you can have all meals in vegan options. And no: It is not expensive (around 10€ for a complete menue with 3 courses!), you can stay there as long as you like of course - so don't hesitate to go there.

I would nevertheless recommend you to be careful when going there, because:
-They always try to make as much money of you as possible! Be careful, this Indian couple is very greedy!
-They are usually neither kind not friendly
-They obviously want to get rid of you as fast as possible
-The prices are increasing every time, the portion sizes get smaller and smaller.
Prices are already much too high right now.
-NEVER give you the impression of being welcome and yes, they only want to serve you fast.

Read moreYou get a full meal for around 10€, there are also special daily menus that change every day. For those on a tight budget, you can get a warm sandwich for just 3€.
The dishes are simply delicious - freshly prepared - with homemade bread and spice mixtures. Don't expect hot, expect delicate spices in a very chilled atmosphere. All the dishes are vegetarian, of which about half are vegan.
Perfect if you like to have quiet chat or a read whilst enjoying your meal.
There is also a good choice of drinks, including delicious lassis and yogi teas.
Our favourite in Cologne!

All the food here is either vegetarian or vegan. If you say that you are vegan you really do get a completely vegan meal including dessert. It is definitely a good idea to take the daily meal as you get a nice starter, bread and pudding along with your meal. The staff are pleasant and chat. The food isn't the rich and spicy type that you would get in India (or even in the UK!!) I always think that Indian food in German is way too diluted to suit the Germans tastes so I found the food here like all Indian food in Germany very delicate. It was still very nice and the location is very practical.

Read moreYou'll find there only Vegetarian & Vegan meals, some goods for sale (e.g. Yogic & Ayurvedic teas, oils, spices, books etc.) & attention from the owner.
I was there with my boyfriend (carnivore), who loved his veggie plate. At finish we took some deserts home and very much enjoyed them.
I'd like to support such privately owned, homy places by spreading a kind word about it.

I used to go there since a few years and more often some time ago because they want higher prices but for the same food while they lost some of the good quality in my opinion. Besides they are not always friendly, it's more like an anonym atmosphere and they only want to serve you fast.

We were there for a late lunch, just day before. We had the set lunch. The food was very good and satisfying. Homemade and healthy food. We also ordered some extras from the regular menu. We will definitely go back. The location seemed pretty central, the area around was busy and buzzing.
