Inconsistent and often pre-packaged

Gourmet Prep is a meal delivery service operating in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Their website says the meals are chef prepared and restaurant quality. Their meals are available with meat, or vegan, and are ordered in packages of 6 with delivery on Sunday. We found the meals were inconsistent. Tofu meals were generally lacking in flavour and the salads were always the highlight. They also seem to use pre packaged food more than we expected. For example, one meal was what appeared to be canned baked beans with frozen mixed veggies (pre packaged frozen peas & carrots?), coleslaw with minimal dressing, all topped with a few chopped up Gardien chick’n nuggets. The meal didn’t reheat well!

Pros: Vegan meals, Free delivery

Cons: Inconsistent quality , Pre packaged ingredients
