I was there a month ago and I will warn others that some waiters or cooks there do not know what vegan means. I chose a dish with tempeh, they don't have it so I had buckwheat with mushrooms. Was okay nothing special. They offered me soup and I said I will have it if it is vegan, and the waitress checked in the kitchen and said that pumpkin soup is made on butter, but they can offer me mushroom soup. I confirmed and got the same soup as other people in my group that eat meat. Soup had bacon in them - soup with mushrooms and bacon is on the menu.

We came there spontaneously after a trip to Lake Bled by train. The restaurant (which is a hotel as well) is pretty close to the train station and provides outdoor seating in a beer-garden-style section and on a patio under glass.

They’ve got two whole pages of vegetarian options but none of them are clearly labelled vegan. Meals sound interesting but vary between poor and ok. Best was probably the vegi plate.
We had no alternative and that would be the only reason I’d go there again.

A classic restaurant with only two vegan dishes (pasta and buckwheat - see picture of price list). They no longer have tempeh due to their short shelf life, the replacement is mushroom or vegetable sauce. Portion size is normal.

We came here on our way back from Bled and Bohinj and had an overall good experience. The staff was friendly and made sure that our meals were vegan. They had a good page and a half of vegetarian options that could mostly be made vegan. We had the broccoli and leek pasta and the tofu wrapped in zucchini with soy sauce. The food was good with some pretty large servings (the pasta).

Great service, bottle of sparkling wine for 24 euro. 30 minutes cycling from bled on cycling lanes (make sure you have lights though).. Look out for the weird stuffed poker playing animals

There are not many, but tasty vegan dishes in the menu. The stuff are friendly, and speaking english. The dishes are big for two people. The restaurant is located in the road from Bled to Lesce, in the left side of the road, and a big free parking is un the right side of the road.

Food tastes great, many options for vegans/vegetarians, salad buffet, spacious, looks nice. Nothing bad to say about is honestly would rate 5 if possible.

Read moreThere's a great selection of vegan dishes, so it took me some time to make up my mind. I'd never had seaweed risotto before, so I ordered arame risotto. It sounded interesting and was very tasty (there were some carrots in it as well). I also had miso soup with some more seaweed and sesame seeds. It was tasty, but tasted western, I think it might have had some parsley in it.
They had no vegan cakes, but the waiter offered me fresh bilberries (that usually come with ice cream, but that wouldn't be vegan). I got a whole bowl of them, and they were delicious even without any kind of sweetener.
The staff is very friendly. The food is somewhat pricy though.
The chocolate factory Gorenjka is located nearby. The factory store sells discounted chocolates (because they broke or turned out not so pretty). For about €8 you can buy a kilo of vegan dark chocolate with whole hazelnuts, or vegan dark chocolate with puffed rice. Ask the waiter in Tulipan for directions ;)

They have a whole one page in the menu that offers vegetarian and at least five vegan dishes. People that work there are extremely nice and when I asked about a mushroom risotto that wasn't on "vegan menu", they said it's not vegan, it has some cream inside, but I was like ok, if it's not much I'll survive... When I got the dish waiter said they made it without cream. That surprised me since I didn't specifically asked for that, but I just mentioned I'm vegan. So yes, I must give them thumbs up for the attitude and for food quality as well!
