Fast Food Well Done

Goodness Me has a great salad bar, lots of choices like cabbage salad, crunchy quinoa and curried quinoa salad, detox and mexican tofu salad or you can just build your own. The Indian split pea soup is very tasty. You can also order a vegan entree. They have different ones all the time. The vegan stew is awesome and the Mexican tofu casserole is very nice. You get 2 choices of sides. They have steamed veggies, kale with a delicious lemon dressing and flaxseed topping.
The smoothies are also amazing. You can either build your own or get the ones on the menu. Ask for a vegan protein instead of whey. They are pretty accommodating and you can make many substitutions.

Pros: Great choices, Wonderful service, Good prices

Great selection a bit pricey...

Great selection. This is the best Goodness Me location. The prices are a bit costly. I'd like to see the prices match Organic Garage in Oakville to save the trip.

Pros: great selection

Cons: pricey

Best vegan samosas

You will not find better vegan samosas, than the ones in Goodness Me's prepared food section... even at a restaurant.

I always get their samosas (2 large and filling ones for $4.99), and their warm indian split pea soup ($2.99).

You will not be able to finish these two things without being STUFFED. Always one of my favorite vegan meals.

They have a seating area for you to happily stuff your face, which is sectioned off so shopping customers don't have to see you drooling and ranting and raving over your awesome meal.

Pros: In-house baked vegan cookies and muffins, Best vegan samosas ever, Best indian split-pea soup (usually)

Cons: Soy used in some in-house baked goods

Review of new location

As of June, 2012, Goodness Me has moved to a new location in Burlington. They're now at Fairview St. and Drury Ln. Their new location is greatly expanded from their old one and features many new amenities, including a take-out food bar, a larger produce section, a bakery area, and rooms for lessons and lectures. I quite like the new location. It's got a much greater variety of products and is more conveniently located.

Pros: Good location, Great variety, Lots of parking

Cons: High prices

Gluten free shopping

I love Goodness Me for their line of Udi's gluten-free products, as well as the selection of other gluten free and vegetarian items.
Many of the staff are knowledgeable when it comes to allergies and appropriate products.

The store has pretty good hours, and a good selection, despite the size of the store being small. I understand they are scheduled to move into a larger building on Fairview Street in the near future.

When they have sales on, the prices are very good and they usually have lots in stock, which is great.

They also offer ready-made foods, organic produce, and a variety of specialty items that my grocery store has never heard of.

Highly recommended.

Pros: Lots of selection, Gluten-free products, Great when products are on sale
