Not bad - Edit
Relatively affordable for Hong Kong, roughly $50-$60 for lunch, which includes choice of soup or coffee/ tea. Menu in Chinese, use a translator app.

Not bad - Edit
As others said, there was no English on the lunch menu, so I picked something somewhat randomly with Google Translate. It was crispy noodles with vegetables on top. Not bad, but not very flavorful either.

Didn't enjoy my lunch set - Edit
This place is really close to North Point MTR, and has no English name but is at the address stated on ground floor level, and right next to Batata Greens veg store.
Read moreI feel bad giving this a 2 star as a vegetarian restaurant, but unfortunately I really didn't enjoy my lunch set. They don't have any English menu available for their lunch menu, so I used google translate and ordered set C (at HKD46) that I understood would be aubergine (eggplant) based. What appeared was some kind of extremely chewy mock meat, in a gloopy ketchup based sauce, with some tomato, few peas and sweetcorn, and steamed rice. I could only eat half of it. It came with a soup (+HKD2), which looked like the typical Chinese soups, but it simply didn't taste of much - I've had far better ones.
This may be a case of bad ordering, and there are probably other dishes that are better here, however I can only rate on the food I actually ate. Lunch set is very cheap, perhaps main menu items are better? A noodle dish someone else ordered from the lunch set looked better.

greasy, not very tasty - Edit
I found their food to be greasy and not very tasty. It is ok but nothing that special, and not particularly healthy.

Friendly & economical Chinese eatery - Edit
Environment: Simple, family-style, quiet
Read moreFood: Traditional Cantonese vegetarian food with no five spices. Portion is big and most meat-eating men will find the meals safisfying and taste like a normal carnivorous one. Some food could be on the oily side just like most Chinese places so you can tell the servers you want to take it easy on the oil and sauces. They are open in between lunch and dinner, which is rare in Hong Kong. Menu items with eggs are marked. Their daily soup is delicious, usually comes free with lunch sets or dinner dishes.
Service: Geniune, friendly, attentive
Price: Low-medium range (no 10% service charge)
Pros: I heard they don't use msg and they open thruout.
Cons: Plastic takeaway boxes
