Matcha and more! - Edit
Service is super friendly AND vegan friendly especially compared to most places around. The coffee was high quality, Matcha was exactly how it should be (I’m a matcha snob) plus a nice selection of vegan baked goods. Outdoor seating area is enjoyable. Would come back!

in a small town with not many options they had TONS ! i had a delicious hummus toast and a chai latte with oat milk. a good variety of vegan pastries as well as vegan butter for toast!

Delicious Darjeeling tea recommended & lots of coffee options too. Granola was just right amount, monkey bread moist, & jam/butter toast a nice option for vegans. One of the better breakfast offerings in Solvang.

Good Seed Cafe - Edit
Guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable about what was vegan and what wasn't. There are 3 vegan pastries. We tried the peanut butter cookie and it was delicious. Vegan hot chocolate and matcha were great as well.

They only had monkey bread (which my husband said was very good), chocolate zucchini bread (meh), and a PB cookie (didn’t order). Come on Solvang - you can do better.

Bakery morning coffee shop - Edit
A community that that has more bakerys in a square half mile then anywhere else i have been. This is the only place that has vegan options. The pastries are really sweet. Known for their gourmet coffee.

Their monkey bar was a complete breakfast for me, the chocolate peanut butter cookie was delicious and not too sweet! Great americanos too. We had a pretty simple order but everything we had was tasty! Easy parking in the back too

A cute coffee and breakfast stop. The menu has 4 to 5 vegan items at all times (many of which are also gluten free). We enjoyed the savory lentil pie, monkey bread, and some almond milk flat whites.

This is a small Cafe with a few vegan and gluten free options. The prices were high but the food was food. I enjoyed my super food latte, too! A good place for a snack if in the area.

I went to Solvang under the impression that I would have plenty to look at but nothing to eat there. So glad we found Good Seed Coffee!
Read moreEverything on the menu is organic, and about half of the baked goods they make every day are vegan. When we went, the vegan offerings were: monkey bar, chocolate chip cookie, and a fruit cobbler item (we went right before they closed and this is what was left).
I had a matcha latte with almond milk (they also have oat milk) and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was also gluten free, but I was impressed with the rich flavor it had- not dry at all. My matcha was delicious too.
The cafe itself is very nicely styled and cozy. At 15 minutes before they closed, the place was still packed. I highly recommend stopping here
