Turkish Coffee Tahini Shake - Edit
The Turkish coffee tahini shake is divine-smooth and sweet, highlighted by the tahini's bitterness. The halva crumble on top elevates the cool treat to incomparable heights.

Turkish Coffee Tehina Shake! - Edit
I had a falafel sandwich, which was good enough. The real stars of the meal were the shawarma fries (the seasoning was *so* good) and the Turkish Coffee Tehina Shake (which, as preposterous as this may sound, is great to dip the aforementioned fries in). The shake, which is topped with hazelnut halva, is no more expensive than the “original” at $7.50. It was decadent.

So good!! - Edit
I’m kind of in love with this tahina smoothie. I got the original, now I want to try all the others. I wish it had less sugar (1/2 cup) but I’m willing to forgive that for this tasty treat. Reasonably priced, smooth, almost milkshake consistency, and very tasty. Also tried the falafel sandwich with harissa tahina. Generous amount of falafel balls, also tasty, and the harissa gave it a mild spice.

Excellent food! - Edit
I was told to come here for the milkshakes. This is one of the best milkshakes that I’ve had. I had the Turkish coffee milkshake and my mother had the original tahini. Mine slightly reminded me of a cookie dough milkshake. My mother said the tahini milkshake tasted like peanut butter. I ordered my milkshake as part of the falafel salad combo. The salad was great, and the beets in it were so tasty. The dressing took it to the next level. The falafel were smaller than I expected, but it was just enough for a filling meal. I was unable to eat the shawarma-spiced french fries, but the couple I tasted were fabulous. Goldie will be on my list more often when I go to Whole Foods.

I love Goldie - Edit
I never liked falafel until I started eating here. There menu is nice and small, and everything on it is delicious. Schug is the best sauce, with amba close behinde. The Turkish coffee tahina shake, with the halva mixed in, is one of the greatest things ever made.
Read moreIt's probably for the best that this one is closed. I live near Wholefoods now, and I think itd be too tempted to eat here everyday.
If it ever opens again, I'd recommend ordering before you go shopping, if that's what you're here for. They can get pretty swamped so it might take a minute
Pros: Shakes, Falafel , Fries

Cheap Mediterranean Food - Edit
Goldie is a very small stall within Whole Foods market. Their menu is small, but do offer vegetarian and vegan options. There prices are cheap for what you get. Their falafel sandwich is fantastic. Their sour cherry iced tea is also great. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. It’s my first choice for lunch or dinner whenever I’m shopping at Whole Foods.

The best felafel I have ever had - Edit
Felafel is a food I have always liked conceptually, but has frequently disappointed me as served: heavy and bland. "Oh, I thought I liked felafel...," has often been my reaction.
Read moreFinally, my underlying feeling that I like felafel, when prepared correctly, has been confirmed! Goldie's felafel is crisp, light, and delicious. Atop a delicious salad of beets, cucumber, mint leaves, and delicate greens (as well as tahini and sunflower seeds), Goldie's perfect felafel delighted and satisfied me. I could not recommend it more highly.
