Veggie options not available on arrival - Edit
Came late afternoon specifically for the famous falafel bowl, but told not available so hugely disappointed. Had a beer and vegan Buddha bowl. Beer was warm, waiter clearly knew as offered ice, which was brought in a bucket.
Read moreUsed Google translate to communicate strict vegetarian due to meat allergy and not to fry tofu where meat had been fried. He confirmed understanding.
Buddha bowl presented well and super fresh ingredients, but dressing was super salty and didn’t taste of much despite being described as a blueberry vinaigrette (which it definitely wasn’t).
Wanted dessert, but told only stick mango rice available. I was looking forward to cheesecake or brownie as my body needed it.
Was in major calorie deficit from a mega bike ride and hike so my visit was so disappointing and didn’t hit the spot.
Nice setting, good Bob Marley chill music playing, such a shame. 🙁
Pros: Ambience, Waiter really tried hard
Cons: Signature dish not available, Only one dessert available , Warm beer

Amazing food! - Edit
Cute little restaurant with lots of vegan options. Great tasting food with good views and nice aesthetic. “Pricey” by Lao standards, but reasonable for most travelers. Well worth it!

Amazing buddha bowl!! - Edit
We ordered the buddha bowl which came out very fast and was absolutely delicious! The portion size was huge and enough for the both of us and the staff were lovely. Came back a few days later and ordered the tropical salad (withouht yoghurt to make it vegan) and satay tofu which were also incredible

Delicious food, but pricy - Edit
We ordered the falafel plate and Buddha bowl and both were really delicious and fresh tasting. The falafel was freshly fried, nice garlicky hummus and soft pita. All the veg and grains in the bowl were really good. It is however a pricy place (140k and 180k for our meals) but I believe it’s worth it as a travelers treat ☺️

My favorite restaurant in Vang Vieng - Edit
It’s a lovely place, one of the nicest in town. They have many vegan options, the falafel plate is amazing, and the Buddha bowl as well. State that you are vegan for the Buddha bowl though, because they serve it with something yoghurt saucy, but also with guacamole! They portions are huge and the people are friendly.

Fresh food! Delicious! - Edit
I was so delighted to stumble across this place! The vegan bowl is super - a huge bowl filled with so many fresh veggies, lentils, pumpkin, chickpeas, avocado etc.
Read moreThe Pita Falafel is also delicious - really nice homemade falafel and hummus 👌 they also have homemade Kombucha!
It is really hard to find nutritious fresh food in Laos, so I ate here several times. It is newly opened, so the service was slow at first but by my last visit, it was much quicker 🙂 Family run place by a French/Laos couple, very friendly and the food is made with love!
Pros: Fresh food , Knowledgeable of vegan, Several vegan options

New restaurant with many vegan options - Edit
Restaurant with good value for money. Not far from trendy bars.
Read moreWe had a great time. The dishes we ordered were wonderful (dish + dessert). Many Vegan dishes on the menu. The tofu is very good. They use only local and daily fresh products. We were able to have some culinary explanations in order to better know the customs of the country. Very nice home. I highly recommend !
Pros: small menu with many vegan options, nice sunset view, friendly owner

Lovely quiet classy restaurant - Edit
The restaurants in Vang Vieng can be hit and miss. But this sweet place his the spot. Like everywhere in Laos, food comes slowly but real thought and care has been put into the menu. It changes daily, depending on what they can get at the market. I had the falafel and it made such a nice change from rice and noodles.
