Expensive but good

$23 for my lunch, one murtabak and one briyani, good curry and not greasy at all

Minus 2 stars, quality has dropped a lot recently, especially the false advertising of plant based western menu with real meat

Amazing food, huge choice

I had the butter 'chicken' and it was amazing. There is a huge menu, it was so hard to chose that I ended up asking the server for a recommendation. Everything like amazing.

Pros: Huge selection, Delicious food

Cons: Decor nothing special, Staff not hugely attentive, but fine

Authentic Indian food

We definitely recommend trying the vegan chicken Massala. They use meat alternatives 👍 They label all the vegan dishes on their menu and they have a lot of them!

Pros: Vegan chicken Massala , Chapati

Cons: Staff wasn’t very attentive , Not completely vegan

Delicious dosa!

I had a delicious vegan dosa. It was super tasty! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what’s vegan.
Restaurant could use some nice vibes though. Improvement: they didn’t have wifi.

Solid

Came to Little India to check this place out. Did not dissapoint. I ordered some samosas, butter chicken, and sesame seed naan bread. Enjoyed the curry and naan a lot. Curry had great flavor. Didn’t really care for the samosas. They were very small and wasn’t really feeling the filling. Extensive menu with plenty of vegan options.

Amazing

A bit of a walk from the bus, but absolutely worth it. So tasty! And they offer Singaporean and some Chinese fusion too, so you can try out local staples all vegan!!

Our favourite restaurant in Singapore

We visit Gokul every time we visit Singapore. The vegan options are extensive and all of the things we tried are tasty

Very tasty and spicy in middle of little India

I loved the 'specials'. Although classified vegetarian, actually 90% is vegan with veg options :))).

Amazing!

I came here on the vegoutcity food tour and I thought it was amazing! As there was a group of us we tried a lot of dishes and my favourite were the Malaysian style nasi goreng and the nonya laksa. Unsure of the price as it was included in the tour but I really loved everything I tried.

Gokul Raas, Little India, Singapore

Their vegan food is nice.
I can't remember any other resto that refuses to offer free tap water.

Pros: Vegan friendly, Vegan dishes not marked on the menu, No free tap water

Great food, good service

I tried the masala dosa (requesting no ghee) and it was delicious. I also tried the satay tofu, also tasty, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I couldn’t finish it - the staff had no problem boxing it up so I could take it away for later though. Downside is vegan options are not labelled on the menu, but staff were able to help. #Veganuary

Pros: Delicious food, Good service

Cons: Vegan options not labelled , Pricier than similar places in the area

More expensive than others

I was a bit disappointed with this place.. I didn't like what I ordered (but that's subjectif) and I found it a bit expensive compared to other vegetarian Indian food we can find in some food stall in town

Standard drop and more expensive

The good taste has gone. Even plain water not available. Must buy mineral water. Expensive and standard has dropped. Hope changes can be made to bring back the customers.

Pros: Variety

Cons: Expensive

Very vegan friendly

We just came here and had an amazing North indian curry. Vegan butter chicken curry was one of the best I've had, and I highly recommend it. We also had the aloo gobi, plain nann and rice.
Simple table setting and very busy!
If you want a good curry, come here!
Sadly I ate it too fast and forgot to take a photo 🙈

Prices do not include 8% tax and 10% services charge.

Good

It's okay - the dosa is done quite well, and I enjoyed the palak paneer (I didn't have time to try these dishes separately so I have to order it without rice 😆)

It wasn't particularly memorable to me but I didn't have much complaints.

Price is fine, atmosphere is basic but clean, water provided and washing up sink available.

Very nice!!!

We were going to go to Madras Woodland Ganga because saw it in happy cow and also because it had a queue to get in but ended up in Gokul because the staff were oblivious to veganism. We are very happy to have gone to Gokul - amazing flavours and maybe 50% of the menu is vegan.

They dont accept cash unless you have exactly the right amount.

Pros: Food yum, Nice staff

Cons: Not the usual cheap prices, but worth it, They dont accept cash

Allium-Free Vegan-Friendly Indian Vegetarian and Local Favourites

One of the few fully allium-free Indian vegetarian eateries in Singapore. The menu is eggless and vegan-friendly; but it is best to confirm with the staff verbally when ordering! (E.g. Heard that dairy cream might be drizzled on top of the butter chicken if you do not explicitly say you want a vegan version.) My favourites are the dum briyani, butter chicken, and paper masala dosa. They also have good local favourites such as chicken rice and dry laksa. They have recently launched vegan hotpots too. Hope the drinks can have a plant mylk option!
