Vegan laksa

Came here since Uniquely vegetarian had already closed and had the vegan laksa since most other options were already sold out. The laksa was delicious and they were also out of tofu but provided a chickpea side dish instead.

Fully Vegan and Allium-Free

Fully vegan and allium-free stall! Love that they operate with a healthier Asian grain bowl kind of concept; the flavourful proteins feature the classic dishes we are familiar with at Gokul's other branches, but are now paired with three different vegetables. Opened in collaboration with The Social Kitchen, which offers employmnet opportunities to the disabled community. Do note that they usually open quite late at around 1pm on weekends; not sure about weekdays.

Gokul Raas Vegetarian - Lau Pa Sat (Singapore)

Lots to like; all vegan, affordable and nice staff. Food is tasty & local. Run by The Social Kitchen to employ people who would otherwise be on the job market fringes.

Plant Based Option - Budget Friendly

Great Curry selection and vegan Laksa.
Staff are really friendly.
I recommend going for lunch as by early evening some of the options on the menu might not be available any more.

Pros: Good food, Good prices, Vegan options of traditional dishes

Cons: Usually sold out by evening

Gokul Raas

Nice kiosk with loads of vegan options. However, I came way wondering if I had ordered the wrong menu item.

I had a vegan laksa and it was very bland. The soup lacked saltiness, and flavor in general. The tofu in the dish was good and the noodles were cooked perfectly, but I wasn’t excited about the rubbery fake seafood items or the broth. I probably only ate 25% of this because it wasn’t great.

The reason why I am giving three stars over four is because of how much more expensive this place is compared to the other vegetarian friendly options in this food center. I believe I payed double for vegan laksa here compared to uniquely vegetarian, which offered a very flavorful laksa.

Would also be great if they offered chopsticks too, as it was awkward using a fork to eat the soup.

Taste great even without onion or garlic

Briyani doesn't taste like it's missing flavour without onion garlic, reasonable portion size for the price

Tried nasi lemak… generous portion

[🇸🇬 Vegan, Vegetarian] New plant based bowls shop by @gokulraasvegetarian @thesocialkitchen.sg located Lao Pat Sat 😋😋😋Extensive menu! I can’t wait to try other foodie soon.

Earlier, I have tried the nasi lemak but find it too dry and the rice lacked of the coconut taste. However, I love the chili and generous portion of green in it! 😋 The crackers and peanuts “Ikan Bilis” are yumm too!!! I will go for other dishes next time.

Pros: Lots of vegan choices, Affordable

Delicious Chinese / Indian food stall

Had the plant-based chicken rice and tasted the fish curry. Really tasty with a good portion size. Fast, inexpensive and the right amount of spicy (though had to ask for more chili sauce and that was quite alright)
Plenty of options to choose from.
Was asked to pay with cash, but might be possible to pay with touchless payment

Cons: Didn’t seem to sell drinks, but didn’t ask.

Absolutely Excellent

This meal was incredible! We had the plant based nyonya chicken curry, the plant based nasi lemak, and one each of the puffs. Very generous portions, and absolutely delicious!

Pros: Delicious, Inexpensive, Large portions
