Their vegan "meat" was some kind of falafel-like patty and I added beans, quinoa, avocados, pico de gallo, red cabbage, cucumbers, olives, crushed almonds and sesame seeds with a sesame dressing wrapped in a spinach wrap. I made sure to tell her that I was "vegano" and repeatedly made sure nothing had any "huevos" or "leche" or "queso" haha. She was completely understanding and helpful. They usually allow just 4 ingredients + the "meat" + 2 nuts for under $6 but I went ahead and added extra ingredients and "premium" ingredients like the avocados and olives. Along with a bottle of water my total was a little over $9. Prices I used are USD. I'm sure you can also just make it a salad without the wrap which I plan on doing if I eat here again. at Gokela - Bocagrande in Cartagena

Cartagena's best location for healthy food!!!!!

Gokela is Cartagena's best spot for healthy food. The salads are delicious and you can create your own or chose from a wide selection. They also have wraps with a wide range of items to chose from- even speciality items like quinoa, chia, cranberry and much more. If your thinking something lite, the vietnamese rolls are excellent and packed with vitamin rich items. To top it off you can compliment your meal with a freshly extracted juice (unlike the common pulp water and sugar variations that are regularly sold in Cartagena), and smoothies made from greek low fat yogurt. If your feeling like you need energy, or memory assistance, protein boost, sleep, sex drive, or just about anything you can add one of their supplements. If your familiar with supplements they have spirulina, acai, gogi, noni, maca, green power, kava, chia, Canadian flax, bee pollen, St Johns wort... So needless to say, this is a great place to get healthy, enjoy the energy of good food, and in Cartagena- escape from the heavy local food. YOU WILL ENJOY, hence why they are constantly number 1 on Trip Advisor...
