The type of food that is simply sublime

I cannot describe how sublime is the food. Everything is seasoned to perfection where the dish can shine by itself

Pros: Very nice owner , Very cheap

Cons: Nothing

Simples e saboroso

Bem localizado, na zona de Benfica. A beringela estava deliciosa, mas achei a dose muito pequena. Bom atendimento.

No no

The quantity was not enought.

The owners don't know how to cook properly.

When i asked "The chili of seitan could be more spicy", the owner said "Oh no.. we are a vegetarian restaurant, we cannot use spices". I was shocked by the statement.

It's just name and image. No flavours and knowledge

Pleasant place; very basic food.

We went in for lunch and there were still plenty of free tables available. The staff was friendly and quite approachable, but they were a bit ignorant about veganism as well as their own selection of food — we had to go through each item on the menu, along with the clerk, to check for animal ingredients. They were quite unprepared, to say the least.

Unfortunately none of the pastries on display were vegan—they were just your run-of-the-mill pastries you can find at any coffee shop in Portugal (I.e., w/ dairy & eggs).
Also, there were only two main dishes available that day—thankfully both vegan. Check the photos for reference.

One of the dishes had oven-roasted potatoes, with brown rice and seitan (which was a bit on the chewy side and not fully seasoned), served with a simple salad.
The other dish was 'Rancho vegetariano' (a stew with TVP/soy-chunks, chickpeas, greens and pasta), it was bland, insipid and runny.
The cook definitely didn't taste his/her own creation.

It's fair to say, according to the sampling we were provided with that day, that the style of food they provide is rather simple — which it wouldn't be a minus, if not for overall lack of flavor.
There are already plenty of venues that serve exactly this type of food in Lisbon, and this is exactly one of the main reasons why people look at vegan food with indifference. They definitely need to revise their offering.

On the other hand, the soup was rather good: A red and creamy soup made with beets; it was pretty well seasoned, to my taste.

They also had lemonade, pomegranate juice and a few other drinks.

By the end I had a full stomach, but I was still hungry for actual food.

The bill was rather inexpensive and the nutrition was fairly decent

Coffee was included.

I might give it another go, some other time, but as of now, I can't give more than 3/5 stars. Meh.

I hope I can review it at a later date and be pleasantly surprised by it.

Perfect

The staff is so so nice. A great example of the portuguese hospitality. And the food was really good, not expensive and also had one traditional portuguese dish (veg version)!
