Goddess and the Baker is a popular chain in the Loop that offers breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and more in their all-day menu. This location was expansive and cute and was the perfect way to spend a quick morning meal before heading to work.
Read moreI ordered their Oatmeal ($8) and a Matcha Strawberry Latte ($6). The oatmeal was topped with brown sugar, granola, and fresh berries and was as you'd expect from any breakfast spot. It was a healthy and filling way to start my morning.
As for my drink, the latte was absolutely on point. If you order in, your drink comes in a mug adorned with dried petals that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but a tasty treat to go with their house-made strawberry pureed matcha. Definitely a treat, although I wish my drink had been a bit hotter.
Overall, a great spot to grab a small bite or even lunch on the go while working in the city.

Only fully vegan breakfast is the oatmeal. They have impossible patties but they are served in an egg and cheese sandwich, and the avocado toast comes with cheese. Some vegan baked goods.
