Not the best but ok - Edit
The food was not horrible. But it didn’t hit the mark for me. I ordered the Gobi Manchurian and the Veggie Chow Mein. It was my favorite dish while living in india and this wasn’t quite it. Not enough spice and flavor was off. I’m not sure why the noodles were red. Never seen that before. My non vegan friends loved the place. They said their Korma (dumplings) were better here than the other place they go. Also the vegetarian Mahkni Pasta was enjoyed by them.

Filling food - Edit
Vegans be careful as items on the menu are mislabeled as vegan (ex: dosas, chaats). We did specify everything vegan and yet the king kachaurian chaat got to the table filled with yogurt. We flagged that out and they brought a new one without the dairy, but sad to waste food. So be very clear about your dietary preferences.

As with most Indian restaurants, the food is pretty oily and salty, so not the most healthy option.

Greasy spoon - Edit
The food seems cooked in repurposed oil. The curry is laden with some unidentifiable thickener in which a spoon can stand. The service may as well be self serve and the waiter did not seem to know the difference between vegan and salami.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Food was delicious. Good vegan options. Some of the items marked vegan had cheese and yogurt in them. Our server did not have information what about their vegan options and thats why one star less in my review. We had to specifically mention that we want a vegan version of it.

Quick, comfortable, friendly, and delicious - Edit
All vegetarian casual eclectic place with the vast majority of items already vegan and identified clearly on the menu. There are many South Asian restaurants in this part of the Bay Area, but few we've seen that take on such a broad menu. Of course Indian is their specialty, but they also venture into a number of Chinese and even an Italian dishes with an Indian flare. We weren't that daring for our first meal but had a delicious Dahi Gappa chaat (without the yogurt) that was a chilled, fresh salad like mixture of grains, potato, mint and chutney for a mere $6, followed by an outstanding Spicy Chettinad dosa filled with cauliflower masala and accompanied by three chutneys and a small soup for $9. Service was friendly and quick, parking is abundant (it's part of a strip mall), and the prices are very reasonable. They have a buffet breakfast on weekends. Overall this place is on par with other similar restaurants in the area, with the added bonus of the healthy tasting chaats. Definitely a place we'll visit again.
