Gluten free vegan cinnamon rolls - Edit
Gem has a good selection of baked goods, with the vegan items clearly marked. We chose a cinnamon bun, a matcha marionberry scone and a piece of tiramisu. The cinnamon bun was definitely the star. It wasn’t fluffy like a wheat bread cinnamon bun, but was sticky and tasty nonetheless. The scone was good, but I find most scones to be a bit dry, GF or not. The tiramisu was good from a cake standpoint but didn’t have enough coffee flavour in my opinion. Still, they were pretty darned good examples of GF baking.

Cons: Tiramisu could have used more coffee

Happy to have them locally - Edit
I've not yet been to the Gluten Free Gem bakery but I've bought their products around town - at Purrington's Cat Lounge, Sheridan Fruit, Water Ave Coffee, and New Seasons. I've liked everything I've had but it's been hit or miss whether the retailers are offering a vegan or not-vegan selection of treats at any given time. It'd be awesome if more of all of their treats were vegan. I love the vegan peanut butter power bar!

This bakery was absolutely tasty! Very cute atmosphere to sit and eat. All items are gluten free. There are a few items that contain milk but their clearly labeled. Lots of GF, DF, and vegan selections!

My Sweet Spot - Edit
I just adore this place. The staff is super friendly. The space is welcoming and filled with natural light. Everything is clean. It just feels good to be in this place--such a wonderful vibe. Everything is gluten-free but not vegan. However, there is always a great selection of items that are both gluten-free and vegan. The caramel brownie and Swiss roll are my two favorites. I do so like working on my laptop in the sunny window and playing backgammon with my partner on a Sunday afternoon while thoroughly enjoying a tart and sweet treat. This place truly is a gem. I would definitely give this place 5 stars if the entire menu was vegan.

worth looking for - Edit
You won't find this place unless you are looking for it. If you need gf, vegan, or have nut allergies you're in for a treat.

Great Bakery - Edit
If you can't (or can) eat the famous Portland doughnuts, this is the place for you. Everything was delicious and gluten-free. A couple vegan options as well! Mostly nut-free I'd say.
