Excellent El Salvadoran Cuisine - Edit
Clearly identified vegan options on the menu are always appreciated. We ordered several, and they were all delicious. Nice place with indoor and outdoor seating.

A Local Gem - Edit
The staff welcomed us in. Explained that everything on the menu (aside from the Tres Leches cake) is gluten free. They have vegan menu items and are willing to leave the cheese and meat out of the other items to make them vegan. They have a fun drink menu with lots of options.

Plantains are Awesome - Edit
Plantains - 🥰I'm a huge plantain fan and theirs were made perfectly.
Read moreThe Ensalata drink - thought about packing my bags and moving to El Salvador lol it's that good.
Vegan papusa- the papusa itself is amazing, the vegan filling is straightforward plain tasting vegetables. Good but could've been even better if it had a spicy sauce with it .They give u a green and red sauce but both are bland.
Veggie enchiladas - great presentation but again bland tasting.
Huge dining room inside and outdoor tables. Fun atmosphere. Wait staff was outstanding. So friendly and my waitress was well versed on everything vegan. Recommend.

I wanted to be more impressed - Edit
There was only one vegan option, and it was tasty enough, but not too exciting. They don't have a vegan cheese nor a protein source. The vegan pupusas are the same as other pupusas, but with less, and still the same price. We went during normal dinner time hours on a Thursday and waited 45+ minutes. Chips and salsa are $6 for a relatively small tray. There are better restaurants for vegans in Staunton.

Amazing papusas - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of vegetarian options available here. We had too much food at the end because of it. The papusas are amazing and very tasty. They even have a vegan one.

Fresh food made to order! - Edit
While visiting Staunton, we decided to check Gloria’s menu. So we walked up to the food truck and saw that they had a vegan pupusas. Then we saw that there were a few other items that could be made vegan. We tried the vegan pupusas and the casamiento and immediately fell in love. The food isn’t made until you order it and it comes out smoking hot so it’s not fast food but the best kind of food to take time to enjoy. My wife tried the Ensalada, a mango and pineapple fresco with diced fruit and it was delicious. This will be a stop on all future trips to the city.
