Wonderful place - Edit
Ate in the bar area here yesterday for lunch with 4 friends after finishing part of the West Highland Way.

Food was delicious.
Staff were fabulous, truly exceptional service, they went out of their way to help us and liaise with the campsite next door and book us a taxi to the station.

Better for vegans than not - Edit
I tried just one plate and it was delicious. The restaurant doesn't offer that much of vegan options (only 3 for main plates) but I recon each one of them is really good. As in the title, my partner, who ate a steak pie, wasn't happy: vegan 1, omnivorous 0.

Nice atmosphere. Real limited options for vegans, but a few available. Really didn’t want to risk another dry vegan burger so went with the lentil soup of the day and the veggie Indonesian fried rice, which I was told was vegan. In fairness, both were really nice. Quite expensive, especially the alcohol.

Lovely place, returned a 2nd time! - Edit
Stayed at the campsite here on holiday and visited one night, had a separate vegan menu on request with several choices for starters and mains. I had veg linguini and chocolate and coconut tart. We enjoyed it so much we went again and I had the 'No Moo' burger, which was just as delicious, with a good portion of fries to go with it!

Lunch not so great - Edit
Went for lunch. Had vegan options, sure. But very unimaginative and unappetizing. My friend got something from the non-vegan menu and it was also not inspiring. We ended up going somewhere else. Unfortunate because it sounds like dinner is much better there!

I ordered the miso aubergine and tofu dish with a side of fries and it was really tasty! The menu is clearly labelled and there were a few vegan options. Would go back to try the others!
