Girls And Boys was also recommended to me by my brother’s girlfriend, so I came here to take away a cone of vegan gelato after having lunch at Vegie Bar next door. I walked away with a really yummy scoop of vegan Gingerbread gelato (this was in December) and enjoyed every lick and bite of it.

I had a chocolate sundae with tiramisu and cookie dough honeycomb gelato. The portion was extremely generous and decadent with massive brownie pieces, chocolate sauce and roasted hazelnuts. So many flavours and textures. Extremely creamy, rich and refreshing.

All the desserts here are vegan. It's so refreshing to find an ice cream parlour that is fully vegan, and to be able to choose from the whole counter rather than just a few flavours usually found at the end of the counter. There were also whole cakes available at a reasonable price ideal for parties and gatherings.

Love hanging out in the Fitzroy area as a vegan, there are so many great places to eat and having a completely vegan ice-cream parlour is a game changer!!! The cookies and cream icecream was amazing, would never have guessed it was vegan. Cookies overpriced and disapointing, dry and lacking flavour althoigh may have been better as an icecream sandwich. The strawberry "cheesecake" looked great - was not actually cheesecake it was a raw slice like made from nuts not a baked creamy cheesecake that expected but was still nice just not unique like expected.

Excellent vegan ice cream with 10 creative choices. We got espresso with macadamia nuts and white chocolate and blueberry cheesecake with caramelized popcorn. A single scoop is pretty pricey ($5.50) so we shared a double ($7) which is great value. I've tried vegan ice cream in several countries now and this place is definitely one of my favorites!

Went here with my boyfriend yesterday for first time, and we wouldn't have guessed the ice cream was vegan. It didn't have any sort of alternative milk aftertaste like many other vegan ice creams, wasn't too sweet, and the flavours weren't overbearing or offensive. The range of flavours available was lovely, and the ice cream itself was incredible😄While seating is limited, the benches across the road from the shop are a really cute place to relax while enjoying your ice cream! However, the area is quite busy, so be wary that seating options are taken up quite quickly.
