Was my go to vegan pizza - now not so much - Edit

Gina’s is my go to pizza. I will regularly get the pesto with vegan cheese pizza. Really hits the spot. They can get really busy to the point it’s not worth ordering. Owner is usually there and staffed by younger kids. They used to have vegan slices available every Monday but I think they discontinued that.

Update: the salads seem to have really dropped in quality. Also the vegan cheese is now an extra charge on pizzas even though it’s not listed anywhere.

Just keeps getting worse - Edit

Horrible experience at Gina's today. I ordered a medium very veggie pizza with vegan cheese but got regular cheese. Being vegan, I understand that mistakes happen. What blew my mind was how I was treated when I returned to exchange it. A young man approached me and claimed he took the order and that I never said I wanted vegan cheese. I pointed out that he stated "vegan very veggie" over the phone. He argued and said he didn't read it back to me. I'm not sure if this is their way of denying liability or if the kid hasn't matured enough to say "sorry, I made a mistake" but, I won't be returning. The only way this could get worse is if I become ill from the dairy that I unintentionally consumed.
