My favourite place so far. Sooo cheap and incredibly tasty ! I’ll be coming back here for lunch and dinner today. Absolutely 5 stars. The kindest sweetest owners too.

Great selection. Good taste

They have a big selection of food. Menu in English and the staff is very welcoming. Not all speak English but the old lady she does.
It’s worth the trip.

Pros: Vegan options , Lots of options , Menu in English

Cons: Not everyone speaks English

Pretty good

They have a bunch of prepared dishes and you pick and choose what you want to accompany your rice. I opted for a stuffed tofu of some sort, banana blossom curry, a mock meat, and some pickles. The stuffed tofu was really tasty, with a nice interplay between the flavors and textures of the tofu and stuffing. The banana blossom curry was also pretty good, while the other dishes were simply okay. I liked this spot, but it’s a bit more expensive and not as tasty (in my opinion) as A Di Da Phat, which is just a few blocks away.

Assemble your plate yourself

Not atmospheric, but lovely staff (even though didnt speek english well). You get to assemble your plate with rice and different options. The food was a bit cold and felt like it had stood there for a while. Not the cleanest place, but love that even in these areas there is vegan places.

Affordable & tasty vegan selection

They first brought me a Vietnamese (good joke) and then an English menu. But why go for one set meal when they have the most amazing rice plate buffet with 12 different dishes right by the entrance (and a pho station right opposite), at least over lunch?
They basically gave me the spoon and I picked almost everything from their selection which caused a bit of confusion as I think you’re supposed to go with four dishes or so but they were too delicious looking to leave out! Paid 67.000 for a big plate with a complementary soup and iced tea. Bargain. Really good flavours although some stuff is on the oily side (lots of deep fried bean curd and mock meat).

Pros: price, selection, staff

Cons: slightly oily

Nice meal, not much English

I struggled to communicate since the lady didn't speak English and I don't speak Vietnamese but I ended up with a pho which was incredibly delicious.

I wouldn't call this place "tourist friendly" but I went as a tourist and survived so it's do-able and worth it because the pho was really nice.

Pros: Delicious, Well priced, Friendly service

Cons: Not really tourist friendly, A gross butcher nearby, Not much English spoken

Very good snack

For Vietnamese, Goi cuon or Banh Bot Loc is among our favorite snack. And I would stop by and get some, bring home to share with friends. For a good price too!!!

very tasty dinner

We came here by accident after we tried to go to the place down the road, but it was closed. We had fried cauliflower, banana flower salad, Beijing duck, ga kho tho (fish claypot) and bitter gourd with bean sauce. Everything was yummy and they have a delicious lemongrass and chilli paste on the table - I ate a lot of that!

Great little local place

This place is always crowded especially on the lunar days of the month. The food is great and as of 2015 they are creating new special dishes everyday.

I have had many a chat here with local people.

My only criticism of the food is that they use a lot of sugar to make up for NO MSG. Worth stopping by if you are a traveler looking for a quick pick me up in the form of nice Vietnamese MSG Free Vegan food.

Pros: Vegan, Nice Local Atmosphere, Busy so you know its good

Cons: Too much Sugar, Over Crowded on the lunar days (3 days)

Nothing special

The restaurant is very close to the Jade Emperor Pagoda, so a lot of worshipers go there. I went at lunch time and it was very crowded. Small restaurant but they have also a room upstairs.
The menu is in Vietnamese. But for who can't read it, there are some dishes displayed in a stall. Each day there is a different dish of the day. The service is very fast. They don't use MSG.

It seems that the restaurant is (or used to be) part of the Loving Hut chain as there is a sign inside.

Prices are cheap but the food was disappointed. I had banh cuon (24.000 vnd) which was cold but ok, spring rolls (6.000 vnd each) which I didn't like and iced tea (2.000 vnd).

If you happen to be in the area, you can stop by. Otherwise it's not worth the trip.

Pros: cheap, fast service

Cons: food cold and not so tasty

Normal restaurant

They use mock meat and vegetable. Service is fast, the rate is around USD2.00/dish. Large menu.

Cons: no special dish
