Serves meat, vegan options available. Casual, family dining Chinese restaurant. Has tofu and vegan options - just let your wait staff know. Reported closed, Aug 2021.
I'd describe the food at Genesis as unmemorable, and not particularly suited for vegans. They can modify things on the menu for you, but nothing is marked vegan. There are many better be places to eat vegan in Saskatoon.
If you are vegan/vegetarian let the server know and they will omit egg, oyster sauce, etc... We usually order a spread and take the kids with us. It usually includes shanghai noodles (veg version has no shrimp), veg fried rice (omit the egg), mushroom tofu hot pot, lohans vegetarian delight, curry tofu, and there is a birds nest that is veg as well (can't remember the name). If you go at lunch time there is a vegetarian meal which includes 'egg' rolls that are rolled in cabbage (or some sort of leafy green) instead of the egg noodle, and it is not deep fried. There is also a veg congee that I have never tried. Last I checked they were an MSG free restaurant. Not what I would consider a fancy place, but a good place to take picky eaters - there is sure to be something that will please everyone, veg or not. Ordering pickup over the phone is sometimes tedious as the person answering the phone is also managing the cash register. Too bad there aren't any veg dim sum options because the dim sum was delicious before I went veg. Comfortable booth seating.

Happy to help, but meh food. - Edit
They were nice about making changes to the meals to meet my needs, but the food was pretty bland.
