Many Vegan options! - Edit
The Seitan was sooo delicious! They have many vegan options. Since Linz doesn't have much vegan restaurants, this is the place to be!

a lot of options for vegans but not that yummy - Edit
at this restaurant, vegans and vegetarians have a lot of great options. I ordered a curry dish with rice and grilled tempeh, the portion was big and the price was quite fair. I have to say that it didn't taste too great, some spices were missing!

Always great! - Edit
Their menu changes weekly and they’ll always have around 5 vegan dishes, one big salad (really like the salad for when you’re not super super hungry) and a dessert as well as soup! I recommend to make a reservation though, since they’re always busy. You won’t tire of the menu since it changes so often! One of the best for vegan food in Linz!

Very experimental kitchen - Edit
They change their menu seasonally, which I love. However, some dishes taste odd to me like the mushroom "schnitzel" as it is basically mushrooms and cabbage patty. The big salad just full of leaves; you'll leave hungry, totally not worth +/-10 euros. Opt for the rice dishes if you're hungry.

Tasty vegan options - Edit
Nice outside seating and very delicious vegan options. We really enjoyed the vibe and fresh food at this place. The single vegan dessert was excellent and my whole meal made it worth going back again.

Good food with some vegan options - Edit
The Gelbes Krokodil (yellow crocodile) is situated near the Moviemento cinema and and Solaris bar/club at the central OK-Platz. It has a nice atmosphere, mixed audience and plenty of space. It also comprises of a small outdoor area with some tables where you can take a seat during the warm seasons.
Read moreRegarding the food, it offers a wide variety of Austrian and also International cuisine, with one half being meat or fish dishes and the other half being vegetarian and vegan, including at least one vegan dessert.
You should reserve a table beforehand, as the Gelbes Krokodil is bustling most of the time.

good quality food - Edit
I have dinner there about once a month. Some tables can't be reserved and are for walk-in-customers, but you better reserve a table (or you wait at the bar). They have a different menu every day, also vegan desserts (that's really hard to get in Linz!). I like the variety of the dishes, I've never had a meal twice.

not tasty but expensive - Edit
the vegan miso-soup i had was more like a stew and i could not identify the miso taste. my friend had mushroomragout with schupfnudeln - unfortunately the slimy tomato-tasting dish had very few in common with the announced meal. but our Drinks werd fabulous! aperol and a very refreshing self-made lemonade.

Nice vegan options, reserveration is recommended - Edit
This place is usually packed and it's quite hard to get a table without an reservation. They do have quite a few vegan options on the menu that changes daily. Most of the items are prepared in advance and sometimes the food tastes a bit bland.. but in general you can get there a decent vegan meal.

nice, can be busy - Edit
P'aa was overbooked for Saturday night, so we went to the Yellow Crocodile after 8pm - a lot of people eat there before seeing a movie, so after 8 is a good time to go once the movies are started - it was still pretty busy though. I had a delicious tofu curry and organic beer (Bio-Zwickl).

Nice - Edit
Nice place next to the Moviemento cinema. In the evening there's hardly any available place and you should have a reservation. It's a bit of a crowded and noisy place then.
Read moreThey have lots of vegetarian dishes, but unfortunately only few vegan choices. Unfortunately even the Seitan-Schnitzel isn't vegan :(
It would be so easy, but the owner isn't really interesting in vegan requests.
Vegan ordered dishes sometimes come with sour cream as dip, which is very annoying, but I think this is because of the very busy business.
The food is very tasty and the most of the staff is friendly and very quick.
Pros: vegan labeling, quick service
Cons: crowded and noisy, few vegan options

Nice place but very little choice for vegans - Edit
It's a very nice place in a good location with a great atmosphere. For vegetarians it's definitely a place to go - it has always several tasty vegetarian dishes and is really good value for money. For vegans, however, the chioce is very limited (that is, one dish).
