Low quality; tourist trap

They could not care less for vegans: Even lemon flavour and dark chocolate are non-vegan as of guy at cash counter. Not good quality of the few vegan flavours. Salty peanut — allegedly vegan — not available when we were there. Tourist trap. Taste of ice cream was completely unspectecular and was muchmuchmuch better e.g. at Gelateria dell'Angeletto. This is probably the first ever one-star review I gave, I am not mean at all, but the quality here was not acceptable.

Delicious and many choices

For a non-vegan shop they had a lot of vegan options - around 8 vegan soy gelatoes and many fruit sorbets. I had kiwi sorbet, wild strawberry sorbet and hazelnut gelato. They all tasted really good!

Pros: Many vegan options, Great taste

Amazing!

This place is incredible, and really reasonably priced. I opted for €4 for 3 scoops: pIstachio, hazelnut and chocolate - OMG!!!!

I haven't had gelato since going vegan, this was a great treat. I do hope they offer more vegan options, when I was there they had seven (coconut, hazelnut, choc-orange, mint, strawberry, pistachio and chocolate).... but the selection they have is diverse and delicious.

I also like the honesty. I was at another gelato place and they tried to sell me sorbet as gelato, the man at this place made sure I saw the vegan options, even coming to get me and put me in the correct line (the place is huge). Highly recommend.

Pros: Diversity in options available, Delicious, Great customer service

Cons: Only 7 options currently

Amazing Gelato

Although the vegan choice was limited to 8 the ice creams were absolutely amazing. There was a selection of tub sizes and you could have different flavour ice creams in it. Will definitely visit again

Pros: Several vegan ice creams

Cons: Quite expensive , Lots more non vegan than vegan

Delicious and creamy vegan ice cream

They have about 6 or 7 vegan ice creams, identified with their poster. They are very creamy, a delight! The small size carries two balls, for 2.80 €. I will repeat !!!!

Pros: More variety than in other ice cream parlors, not

Cons: Considering their wide variety, they could have mo

Great vegan options!

I was surprised by the wide range of vegan ice cream options! I tried chocolate and hazelnut, which were both very delicious! Sadly the sorbet I had, and the "normal" ice cream my family had weren't as good, they told me. But if you are vegan I can highly recommend trying the vegan ice creams!

Pros: Good choice of vegan ice cream, Delicious vegan ice cream

Cons: Other ice creaam flavours aren't far as good!

There was so much choice , several soy gelato and lots of fruit sorbets available. I settled on mint, and strawberry. Yum. You pay at the counter then go with your ticket to order the ice cream you want. Lovely ice cream. Friendly staff :)

Eiscreme-Himmel

amazing vegan selection!

We found this place right next to the pantheon and they had a fantastic choice of vegan flavours! My personal favourite was the hazelnut as it was the creamiest of the three I chose (coffee and chocolate were my other two). They had vegan friendly cones and packed a LOT of ice cream on there for €3.50. Would definitely recommend.

Not many vegan options, all fairly bland

The gelateria boasts over 150 flavours, but only a handful are vegan. There was some confusion among staff about the difference between soya gelato and vegan gelato.

We had pistachio and caramel and they were not very good.

Pros: Has vegan flavours clearly labelled

Cons: Not high quality gelato

Several vegan options but lacks in taste

Della Palma is located near main tourist attractions and because of that it's pretty crowded. It has separate vegan section with impressive range to choose from. I took cream, pistachio and coconut, all soy ice creams. Of those flavors coconut was probably best, but unfortunately the taste and structure weren't at the same level than Blue Ice or Lemongrass.

Pros: Lot to choose from

Cons: Taste and structure of soy ice cream, Crowded

Great experience

They have a TON of flavors of gelato, and about 12 of them are vegan. Unlike other people, I had a great experience here with friendly staff and delicious flavors.

I'd definitely go again.

Pros: Vegan gelato

Awful service

Same negative reviews here and in trip advisor. why would you go?
I took this place on my list of gellateria to visit while in Rome. On my trip to the Pantheon, I found it hidden in one of the small streets. It was full of people. Of course it was, they have a big variety of flavors and the service is sloooow!!!

I did not know that I needed to pay first, get a ticket and then come choose my flavors, I was pointed that out by an indian looking server who was extremely rude. When I came back, I showed my ticket to the older Italian server who had just finished serving a customer, he shook his head and walked away. After pretending to do something, he came back grabbed my ticket forcefully and when I told him my flavors, he yelled, "Coppa!" that he needed to get the cup. He gave me my ice cream and he approached the Indian server and they started talking crap about us customers. I speak Spanish and a little Italian so I knew what they were saying. My family had gone to another store while I bought my treat and were waiting for me to come in. I deterred them from coming and we never went back.

The sorbet was just ok and you can get better flavors are smaller stores around Florence, the prices were not cheap either for such an awful service and average product. Stay away from this place if you don't want to have a sour experience from Rome.

Cons: Rude service, Price, Average product

OK vegan ice cream

Not my favorite of soy ice creams,I must admit. The flavors were a bit thin. The best was the coffee, followed by the strawberry. The chocolate adn pistachio were huge disappoinments. If you're wanting regular ice cream, with real milk,I'm sure this place would be great as they have a huge selection. I have to also say that it's a bit chaotic. You have to place your order and pay before you stand in line. Then, get into the regular line even if it's soya ice cream that you want, wait your turn and then tell them you want the soya ice cream. Don't expect to be able to taste as the lines are usually quite long so they workers have to get to the rest of the customers. Honestly though,I don't eat much sugar,so,when I do, I want it to be GOOD. This was a disappointment and left me feeling I had "wasted" my treat for the week,if you know what I mean. Thankfully,we tried Blue Ice a few days later which left me with the gratification I needed.

Pros: variety of soya ice creams

Cons: thin flavor of ice creams, chaotic and confusing
