Good for Lunch - Edit
Food was extremely good but the portion sizes are a bit small relative to the amount paid. I had the roasted Italian veg focaccia and a pumpkin spice loaf and both were delicious. I would go here again.

That muffin!! - Edit
I was in North Bay for a couple a days, and really needed some fruit!! 😆 The smoothie was fantastic, but that chocolate banana muffin is one of the best I've ever had. Although I'd call it more of a loaf... I want expecting it to be that good!! Just wanted to show it some love! Plus their service over the phone was super excellent.

Nice find while passing through North Bay - Edit
It can be tricky to find a restaurant with vegan AND gf option in a smaller town. Gd2go had something for all of us (vegan, gf and meat-eating)
Read morePros: Decent selection of vegan and gf options , Quick and friendly service , Tasty smoothies
Cons: Portions are small for the price , Many items mislabeled as vegan (are vegetarian)

Criminally Low Value for Price - Edit
In town for a shoot and needed a vegan bite. Have been vegan 5 years. This place has CRIMINALLY poor value for the money you pay. Buddha bowl for $17.50 literally was 70% rice noodles with a $2 sprinkling of veg/other ingredients. Absolutely gobmacked at the poor value.

Disappointing - Edit
Good options on menu .... but what comes out of the kitchen was disappointing. Tried two items (miso noodle bowl tofu, and a wrap) and neither were good tasting. Coffee was also like warm. Staff was nice, though, and the place was clean.

Happy Healthy Food Find - Edit
Found this place using the Happy Cow App. The staff were amazing. They were patient and helpful with my family members who are skeptical of healthy eating places. I was quite happy with the amount of vegan options and choices for each. I got a buddah bowl with riced cauliflower as a base (I could have had rice or quinoa as well), a smoothie, and a pumpkin loaf for dessert. And then, as I'm not from the area, I got something to go as well, which was apart of the morning menu, but that they prepared anyway. Will definitely return next time I'm in North Bay!!

Good if you need something quick - Edit
It's not the most tasty vegan food but if you are in a hurry or driving and need to pick something up I would suggest getting something from here.

SO GOOD! - Edit
It was such a pleasant surprise to find this place as we were driving through on a long road trip. I had a GF vegan muffin that was so moist and tasty. The funky monkey smoothie and the buddha bowl were stellar. Service was quick and efficient!

Delicious Quinoa bowls... - Edit
...with a great choice of fresh toppings, at a good price! Also, they serve awesome coffee and tea. I also appreciate the self-serve fresh citrus water. There are many to-go items to choose from. Great patio and the restaurant is clean and bright. Perhaps the wraps and chili bowls are a bit too small to make a nourishing lunch. Also, $6 for a small smoothie is out of my price range.

Blah, Wish I Hadn't Stopped There - Edit
Riding my motorcycle on a cold wet day stopped in. Ordered a chili that was flavorless and lukewarm at best and a muffin that tasted frozen and thawed with a hint of freezer burn. Glad I won't be bacm in the area anytime soon. To top it off the guy taking my order seemed like I was bothering him when I asked a question about something being vegan.

Hey, we're new to HappyCow, so we're just seeing this review now. We're really sorry that our team let you down, and that you didn't have a good experience. We normally make really awesome chili and muffins, and we train staff to be able to help people navigate our menu, and pick the best options. It sounds like we didn't do a great job during your visit. I assure you, that's not our normal standard.

Quick + GD - Just As The Name Suggests! - Edit
gd2go is a nice little vegan/vegetarian friendly "fast food" joint. They have a few tables for eating in and a nice seasonal patio. The space is bright, clean and welcoming.
Read moreTheir menu is small, especially if you're vegan, but it does offer a bit more variety for vegetarians. I haven't tried many different options YET because I always order the same thing - the quinoa bowl-in-a-box. Just as the name suggests it's a generous serving a quinoa in take away box that you get to top with veggies and/or seeds and/or nuts, and your choice of dressing. It makes for a very satisfying meal.
The staff are familiar with dietary restrictions and the ingredients used to produce the in house dressings. They are easily able to suggest a vegan dressing option that will compliment the items I choose for my bowl-in-a-box.
I'm also a huge fan of their coconut milk lattes. If you're a coconut fan give one a go.
